Just saw this gem and had to share, LOL. I can't bring myself to watch the entire thing. http://hellogiggles.com/this-brides-entrance-reduces-her-groom-to-tears

Yea AWKWARD!!!! I dislike this video for SO MANY REASONS!!!

We're one of the younger couples here getting married, and FH and I both said while watching this "ARE THEY EVEN OLD ENOUGH TO GET MARRIED?!"

I also dislike the song choice, and the end where she's in front of him and is singing AT HIM! oh man. I would laugh so hard in her face if i was the groom I wouldn't be able to help it!!

I think they had a bride sing down the aisle on Say Yes to the Dress once and it was so awkward. I don't understand it.... It's basically a performance not a wedding ceremony!

If you read anything about this, you would know 1) she's a singer, it's what she does, so this probably wasn't embarrassing/awkward/etc. for her or her groom 2) her mother did the same thing when she married her step-father, so it was sort of a tradition thing that she did. So again, her guests probably weren't too shocked or weirded out. 3) They had a first look, and she wanted to surprise him with something other than walking down the aisle. 4) They're both 21 so yes, they're old enough to get married.

Just to put it into perspective…

Definitely NOT my thing, but it always makes me laugh how everyone has a gazillion opinions on what others choose to do for their wedding. Who cares? A medieval costumed wedding is not my thing either and would make me uncomfortable but I could care less if that's someone else's thing. Live and let live people.

No need to get offended, it's just an awkward youtube video.

Stephanie.....I don't even have words. And she invited children?!?! Did you see how pissed that dad was? And rightfully so. Oh my god. And her little dance on the aisle. I think I've officially seen it all.

Maybe I'm the odd ball here, but if I had a voice like that I'd probably do something like this... I'm also not shy at all or intimidated. As a guest, I'd ball like a baby, that's so sweet and such a personal touch to her wedding and something she and her husband will never forget.

I had like 5 friends post the singing video on facebook and I thought it was sort of sweet but awkward, especially when it just went on and on. If it worked for them, great, but not my thing. I'm so glad that others feel the same way as judging by my facebook feed, a lot of other people loved it. I can hold a tune but I'm pretty sure FH would just be weirded out if I tried this!

I would/could never do that, but then my even my kids couldn't stand me singing nursery songs to them when they were little LOL.... OTOH she rocked it, and kudos to her for being able to do that and not turn to mush walking up the aisle (as i fully expect to).
