Still on a high after our wedding last weekend, which was nothing short of incredible! Just reliving the moments over and over again through pictures and videos, and wishing the night had gone on forever
The only thing I was really nervous about was that I learned a song in Spanish to surprise my groom with!! He was born and raised in Mexico, and many of our guests were Spanish-speaking, so I wanted to do something really special for all of them. My sister and law and my coordinator coached me on my Spanish, and after all that worrying, I think it turned out great (plus not knowing exactly what I was saying really helped me not get so emotional that I would end up crying and unable to sing lol).
If you wanna see the song, I uploaded it to YouTube:
Planning a destination wedding was so hard for a control freak like myself who has planned events professionally, and I just had to let go and trust that my vision would be carried through. I can say that walking into the venue, my breath was absolutely taken away! They all did such an AMAZING job, from our wedding-cake shaped piñata, to the "Just Married" neon sign on the back of the vintage carriage.
Listing the vendors I used, and posting pics if anyone needs any Inspo!! ( I don't have the photos from the photographer yet other than a handful of "sneak peeks" but will try to update this post later once they arrive).
