    Vicks! Nyquil. Orange juice.
I'm always of the mindset when I'm sick with a flu or the fever, I stop eating and only drink Gatorade, water and juice.

    Orange juice!
Also a spoon full of honey and a shot of whiskey it kills the gerns and bacteria. Works like a charm. Is it a head cold or is it affecting your body as well? If you are having stomach issues, go to the BRAT diet- bananas, rice, applesauce, toast also drink alot of water and Gatorade

Vick’s on feet maybe see a doctor. Lots of water and tea. Lots of steam. You actually want to eat but things like soups. Your body needs nutrition to fight off a virus.

Cold ease if an actual cold. If not go to Dr. In case you need an antibiotic. Good luck!

I swear by the Zicam but it must be the nasal spray. Lots of OJ. Try to get lots or fluid and sleep

I know it's crazy but I work in a daycare, and I get sick frequently. I actually drink pickle juice to help. And I drink a ton of orange juice, or take vitamin c tablets. Soup also always helps me. I usually get over really really bad colds by drinking, or ingesting these things in 2 to 3 days.

Chicken broth, essential oils and a humidifier if you don't have one already are your best friends. Trust me. And of course, lots of fluids. Get some homemade chai with ginger too, it really helps!

You've gotten some great advice so far, but I just wanted to add....just in case, although maybe this is obvious....if you live in an area with a high pollen count (or other spring allergens) right now, maybe it's not even a cold. The pollen is taking a toll on me right now, and Claritin works pretty well for me. Feel better soon!

Gargles of warm water with salt every night & mornings & as well as gargles of vinegar. It will kill all the bacteria & Inflammation. Drink hot tea flavors mint or seven blossoms with a spoonful of honey & lemon before going to sleep. Rub vapor all over the bottom of your feet back of your ears, neck & chest as well. Hope this helps! Hey well soon!🤞🏽

Take Airborne every 12 hours. Also, eat chicken soup. I like the Zicam idea also. Chamomile tea with honey is a great stress reliever and can soothe your throat. When you're not drinking tea, drink water, Vitamin Water or yes, sports drink. Try to avoid dairy. I'm so sorry this is happening and I really do hope you're feeling better soon. Keep us posted on how you're doing.

What do you have? 2x weeks ago, I had the worst cold that I can remember - including a super sore throat (that sadly was not strep - so meds didn’t work), that had a post nasal drip, and sinus inflammation.
For the sore throat I ate ice pops, frozen grapes & jello (jello was surprisingly awesome). It lasted about 3x days.
For the post nasal drip I took the orange Musinex box.
Sit in the bathroom and put the shower on the hottest temp - the steam will help you.
    Lay on multiple pillows.
    Good luck!

Try Ziacam Swabs. Usually you’d start them at the start of the cold but might help.

Sounds super cliche but stop thinking about your cold and try not to stress! Stress makes it so much worse. Download insight timer ap for free (all my yogi teacher friends showed me this!) and do a guided meditation for stress. Then tons of vitamins and extra sleep. Your wedding is going to be awesome!

Normally I wouldn't go to the doctor for a cold but in your situation maybe try to get into the doctor and see if there is anything they can give you to help! If not, theraflu works great and of course the normal OJ and water!

Run over to Walgreens or CVS walk in clinic. Tell them your wedding is this weekend and they will get you all cleared in a jiffy. I had a terrible nagging cough, sore throat, and runny nose the week before my friends wedding in Costa Rica and as soon as I said that the Dr. said "say no more". She gave me a Z-pak and I was cleared up in 2 days.

I actually have a cold right now, Garlic Supplements (I know it sounds weird!) really helped me to get over it quickly! They are in the vitamin aisle in any grocery store/walmart/etc.

Flonase or nasacort, sinus rinse, mucinex, zinc (do not take on empty stomach!), fluids, and SLEEP. Day of, sudafed can really clear things up if congestion is still an issue, but might make you feel jittery.

Z pack is an antibiotic- won't clear this if it is a common cold (viral infection, not bacterial). Just FYI!

I am aware, but just because you think you have cold doesn't necessarily mean it is a cold... I was more suggesting going to see a Dr. to get a professional opinion and advice on what to do, especially since those clinics are everywhere and are also very cheap.

    Totally! Worth asking I suppose.
