Shutterfly wedding album

Hannah, on October 18, 2017 at 10:39 AM Posted in Community Conversations 1 20

I am trying to find reviews for Shutterfly’s wedding photo albums and can’t find any! Who has had a photo album made with Shutterfly? Please tell me your thoughts/opinions. I want to get a photo album made for my parents as a Christmas gift. I want it to be good quality but not too expensive. Thanks!

I had a family album made with them. It was great quality and the price was unbeaten! They, also, do a GREAT black Friday/cyber Monday.

I did an album with them and even though the quality was good. Their service was bad. The album was 3 weeks late, even though I called them repeatedly asking for updates. They just kept saying it was in process. As an inventive for being 3 weeks late they offered me 30% off my next order. I told them, "Do you actually think I am ordering from you again?" And then I hung up.

We ordered one and the bottom of the pages were "torn" in the sense that it looked like it got jammed in a machine and so every page came out looking like a preschooler had cut them. Looks like their quality control team was not on it. We won't order from them again needless to say.

I just went to a wedding Saturday and they had there Guest sign book from Shutterfly and it was amazing thinking about doing it at my wedding. It had there pictures on each page and each page was different. It had a page for everyone on to sign or say something....they had pages like....grooms, bridesmaids, grooms family, brides family, bible versus, advice for bride and groom! It was so cute. I loved it!

Ordered one in September. From time of order placed to delivery was 3 days. And I picked regular shipping.

I got the lay flat premium 12x12 book with 30 pages and hard cover. With discount code came from $190 to $58!

I thought the quality was pretty good. A few pictures came out a litttttttle fuzzy (even though it was high res quality) and 2 corners were a little crushed on the cover from delivery. But for the price and I'm not overly critical, I didn't care

I have some Shutterfly books and am currently making one from our honeymoon pictures (only because I have a free coupon). I have used Picaboo before though, and I like them better. The quality and much easier to navigate than Shutterfly and have never had an issue. They always have really great coupons and deals if you join their email list or check for groupon coupons cause they have them there too.f I plan on doing my wedding album on there so that is another option to look into.

I had a wedding album done from Shutterfly and it turned out great! Ended up giving one to my parents a few months ago! I upgraded to a matte cover and lay Flat pages.

I ordered my album and my parents from NationsPhotoLab.com - I highly recommend. It is very affordable and easy to use - I did album99 for the parent albums.

Consumer grade, mediocre quality. I wouldn’t put my name on one personally.

I do all my albums and my yearly calendar with them. Never had an issue with service or quality. We are doing our guest book through them.

Jay Farrell, what do you recommend? A photo book thru my photographer is like $800

By look what you’d have, assuming you’ve seen samples and love the quality of the print, binding and cover? Plus this way it gets done. Good albums aren’t cheap, cheap albums aren’t good. It’s a smaller price to pay than having a less attractive representation of your story that you hired someone to tell. Or worse yet nothing tangible of your day. This is why I provide them or my couples. If you’re insistent on doing your own, Miller’s lab is much better than the Shutterfly or zno options. Some work goes into it, and I’ve never had a client balk after they received one, my two cents Smiley smile

I really like adoramapix.com. You can do so many creative things with layouts and the quality is excellent.

Their are definitely better places than shutterfly, but for the price what they put out is good. I do a yearly book with mine and DH's adventures (we hike a lot). The books are good for the price. They've always shipped quickly, and never been damaged. The better options are much more expensive, so it really depends on what you're looking for and how important it is to you.

I've use them several times when. I've had a promo code for a free photo book. Family members regularly use them for photo calendars. None of us have ever had an issue.

Did anyone have any "low resolution" pictures in their books that turned out decent? My photographer's quality of photos are great, but when making the book many of the photos say they are low resolution. I don't know whether I should proceed with buying it or not.
