Show off your wedding shoes!

When did you buy your wedding shoes? A few months ago when I walked into a DSW and they were the perfect price (only $35)! That was roughly 6 months from my wedding, but I say if you have the dress, find the shoes!

How did you pick them? I tried on a lot of shoes...sparkly, plain, heel, flat, all in between until I decided what I liked. My dress needs a heel or I need to hem it so I bought the heel so I don't have to pay for the alteration, lol!

What was your #1 criteria for wedding shoes? COMFORT! You're on your feet alllllllll day, walking everywhere, dancing, I knew hardly anyone would see my feet anyhow so I went for comfort and affordability over bedazzled pumps. I also have a backup pair of slippers I'm taking if I really want to take off my shoes. I can also wear my shoes again after the wedding because they are so versatile and match everything!

I bought my shoes about a month and a half ago. I'm not getting married until next September, but I figured I might as well be on constant lookout for them. I picked them just browsing online one day. I knew I wanted blue short heels or flats but I wanted them to still look bridal. Most important thing to me was that I could walk in them on grass and be comfortable.

When did you buy your wedding shoes? Like a year before.

How did you pick them? They were cute and comfy. I wasn't looking for them. Just found them.

Bought mine about 4 months ago, I knew I wanted to splurge on designer heels. I tried on a bunch of options in store while I was on vacation In a large city but didn’t buy immediately. Bought mine online a couple weeks later. Having a heel 3.5 inches or shorter was most important to me because my fiancé is only about 4 inches taller than me. I wear higher heels all the time but didn’t want to be taller than him in all our wedding pictures!

It took FOREVER to find mine. I ordered last week from JustFab and they will arrive Friday. I wanted shoes I could wear again. But I got a deal on the website. So I ordered these in this color and black and some boots for 39.95. Lol. Now I will just have to wear them around the house for the next 3 weeks to break in before the big day.

These are mine. I went with a nude color so that I could wear them after! I also bought flats to wear to the reception.

These were mine. We got married outside and I didn’t want my heel sinking into the ground if it was wet from the rain.

I've been thinking about switching to flats for the reception. This may be a silly question, but how did you hem (or bustle) your dress for going from heels to flats?

I'm wearing shoes from our first time out. They would be considered vintage now, lol. And it's my something old. I wanted to incorporate something from when we first met and these heels are perfect.

I bought these last January when my fiancé asked me my ring size. I knew I wanted Cinderella princess shoes. My stepmom says they’re too much but I say it’s the only day I could ever wear any shoes I want

I bought mine on Amazon about a year ago. I just love them! And surprisingly, they’re probably the most comfortable pair of heels I’ve ever worn!

Haha, my heels were my very 1st purchase! I bought them in September of LAST YEAR. I randomly stumbled across the cutest pair of light blue vintage looking heels and I HAD to have them. Go figure, they were sold out everywhere in my size. I couldnt find them on a single site! One day, my best friend sent me a message that she spotted them on Zulily....for a whopping $30! (these are $100 heels!) They had ONE last pair in my size!!! I snapped them up instantly. I am in love with my heels! They are crazy beautiful in person, are really comfortable, easy to put on, and even my seamstress is in love with them!

The only criteria I had was my wedding shoes had to be a heel. I wear stilettos every day at work. They are my go to shoe style of choice. Once I had my heart set on that particular pair, that also decided our wedding colors. (pale blue and dove grey)

These are made by Ruby Shoo. Their entire line is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I want a pair of every shoe they design!

I picked my wedding dress and shoes at the same time! I knew I wanted the Rosalind Gown (second pic) at BHLDN, and then I picked the shoes the model was wearing haha. That was I knew for sure they went together! 😂
In terms of criteria, I knew I wanted something that wasn’t too tall and was a peep toe.
