I did a first look with my daddy!

Kaitlyn, H didn't want to do it at first either. I told him how much time we would be saving if we did, and he agreed to do it. He loved the experience as much as I did.

This is the only picture I have of the first look so far but I love it. I spent the whole morning with H though so it was really just our first time seeing each other all dressed up

H was not sure about doing a first look but I gave him no choice and I think he was glad overall. He was REALLY nervous to see me. Looking back at these photos I get all the feels! We did a few portraits after the first look and I got one of my favorite wedding photos from it. I'm for sure pro first look!

These are all gorgeous! I've been saying I am going to do a first look with my dad and my son...man this is making me rethink that.

I think the first look was one of my favorite parts of the day! It was so nice to see my DH before the ceremony, and just have a moment between us!

@MMB I'm definitely going to show him this thread when I get home. Like you said, it will save us SO much time if we can take pictures before the ceremony and I can't get over how cute they all are. I hope he changes his mind!! I don't want our guests to be waiting an hour while we're taking pictures. Of course they'll have food and drinks while they wait...but as a guest I don't think I'd like waiting that long. Now I'm on a mission to change his mind.

The first look was when we got the best pictures. If you're on the fence, DO IT. I have yet to hear a bride regret it.

We decided to do a "secret" first look because my husband was addiment about not seeing me until I walked down the isle..I loved this! It was fun getting to see him, knowing he couldn't see me.

My FILs threw a engagement party for us last month, and I felt like I hardly saw FH with all the craziness of the wonderful evening. I am more convinced than ever that we need to do a first look, if for no other reason to have a few intimate moments alone together.

Update- Y'all's precious photos have convinced me to do a first look, and FH is on board too!! Weeee! I'm so excited!

I love these so much! I've been on the fence about it too, and finally decided to do it but was worried about it being awkward. This post puts my mind at ease and makes me really excited to do mine!
