This is probably one of my favorite wedding pictures of all. This makes me sooooo glad we chose to do a first look.

ETA: ugh I wish the photo didn't upload so blurry :l

I should have avoided this post but I couldn't help it...FH is adamant that he will not see me until I walk down the aisle no matter how badly I want a first look. These pictures are beautiful!

@Lynnie your first look is my favorite.. I know it was awful about the hurricane, but your pictures just make my heart melt.

@Mrs Jones yours are one of my faves too! I just loved your elopement.. I just can't get over your display picture LOL kills me everytime I see it!

My fiance is against a first look.. he doesn't want to see me before or know anything about my dress until I walk down the aisle to marry him.. i was a little surprised by how traditional he was in that sense, considering we're doing a destination wedding.

This hit me right in the feels. All of these pictures are beautiful and make me even more excited to do a first look with FH!

First look was soooo worth it. Those few minutes "alone" were some of my favorite from the entire day. Bonus was that we got out couples pics during golden hour--otherwise we would have missed all daylight since our ceremony wasn't over til 5:30

@Kir - That's a great point! We are having a winter wedding so daylight will be limited for us as well!

It was so nice being able to see eachother first, it definitely calmed us both down, we were both pretty nervous about being the center of attention.

All of these pictures make me so happy that FH and I have decided to do a first look. These photos are so sweet!

My husband loved our first look. He was a mess until he saw me. He said it put him completely at ease.

All of these are so much fun to look at!

Here are a few from our first look, I definitely cried a little bit (although let's be honest, I was on the verge of tears all day).

He totally cried. It was wonderful to take all the time we needed to experience that emotion.
