Show me your David's Bridal Dresses

I went to DB! I liked being able to look online and to know that I can afford a worthwhile dress before I walked in. This was originally around $1000 and I bought it for $450! I added accessories and a A-Line slip under it to make it more flattering to my body so that would be in addition to the $450. Honestly if you go there in the middle of the week when there’s not a ton of people you will have a great time. You’re not going to get champagne and a couch for your family to cry on but that’s not really the point. I plan on having it altered elsewhere bc I thought their quotes were too high for it. Honestly I love the dress so I would recommend at least checking out their selection and letting the consultants surprise you with dresses that might work!

I had a great experience. I however did not go on a weekend which I hear are stupid busy.

I'm plus size so I was really worried about smaller stores not having options for me. So I decided to go to David's bridal since I knew they would have dresses for me. I had a great experience. The consultant brought dresses that I had photos of and made suggestions of his own. He didn't up-sell me at all. He also dealt with the fact that I brought like 10 people with me, lololol. Here is my dress:

I got my dress at Davids! I will be doing alterations through them because I don't live in an area with a reputable seamstress that I trust and can get to. I know several people who have gone to this specific location and not had issue but I know it varies by store. I paid $1,500 for my dress which was more than I had planned, but I almost never feel beautiful and that dress made me feel gorgeous so I had to.

This is my dress from DB! I absolutely love it!! Originally $599 and got it for $399. I went there early on rainy Monday, my stylist was awesome, so sweet and down to earth. She let me try on whatever I wanted and this wasn't even in my initial options I almost didn't even try this on cause I thought it was over my budget. Also I even bought a second dress to change for $99! From $200. Everyone's experience varies but honestly I think it was worth it. My dresses came in sooner than expected too. My gown was ordered from the warehouse thankfully

I went looking at local thrift shops found a dress twice my size but with some alittle adjustments it will fit perfectly and it only costed $60 I said heck ya

Here's my dress from DB!! I am having some things added... but this was my 1st fitting!! And my consultant was great!! She really paid attention to me and kept me in my budget!! My dress is a formal dress...I didn't want a big dress due to us having a simple wedding. But once I'm done with my add ons... it's going to look so cute!!

I am stressed about shopping at David's Bridal because I am a size 18 and not planning to spend more than $600 for a dress (not including alterations)

I'm glad I went to DB. Originally I bought a $500 dress from them but they let me exchange it for this one! Since the 2nd dress cost double, I ended up getting their credit card and I got 6 months 0 interest.

My bridesmaids also got their dresses there and they were able to pick out the different styles in the color that I chose. They have a good selection. We all got our dresses in less than a month even though they had told us it would take about 3 months

I would not buy their accessories though, you can get them a lot cheaper. Unless they have a sale going on which seems to be pretty frequently. Their customer service isn't the best, towards the end of the appointments I did feel rushed. I just didn't want to go somewhere where they didn't have as many dresses within my budget.

This is mine! It fits me perfectly and I went need any alterations done. First and decide picture were taken when I tried the sample dress on. Third picture is the dress with the belt I'll be wearing the day of. ❤

This is mine, I actually just said yes to it last night! The sleeves are added since I will be getting married in a church, it's actually strapless. I love it because it has a blush color layer of tool so the dress kind of changes color in the light. They're having a pretty decent sale until May 7th on bride and bridesmaid dresses and accessories! Haven't had experience with alterations yet, but I had an overall wonderful experience. Both salespeople I worked with for my dress and their dresses were wonderful! And they have SO many pretty dresses at so many price points!

Forgot to add, the dress is normally $1000 but was on sale for $880. These are my bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dress, they will all be in the marine (navy) color. The maid of honor may end up with a different dress though.

View Quoted Comment I do have to say that they have a number of plus sized dresses at different price points. I am a size 18/20 and super busty and was dreading dress shopping. They had lots in my size to try even if they didn't have the ones I wanted. I had a pretty "low" budget and the consultant I worked with didn't bring me anything outside of my budget. I was able to try more dresses there than at the exclusively plus bridal salon I went to (partially because I didn't want to spend $2000).

This is not the dress I thought I would choose. I went in torn between two other styles. My family said no when I pointed this one out but once I put it on we all loved it.

My dress makes me feel hot, which is not something I feel on a regular basis. I paid $450, have no had alterations yet.

Bought mine off the rack at DB for $350 so no wait time for me! Having alterations done locally as well to save on cost. Loved my dress it was the second one I tried on and the consultant went out of her way to make she I was happy!

I got mines from there. I tried on one in store and fell in love, but couldn't afford the $400 price tag. I kept going back and looking online at the dress I wanted, and somehow ended up on the sample page with a dress that looked similar. I ended up purchasing a $600 dress, naked down to $199, and then used a coupon to get $30 off. So $169 for the dress I pretty much wanted is awesome. The first pic is the one I really wanted, but in whisper pink. The second one is the one I bought
