Show me your David's Bridal Dresses

I absolutely love my dress! I went in thinking I wasn't going to find anything. The very last dress that I tried on took my breath away and was on sale! My consultant was absolutely wonderful and kind. The awesome thing is that after purchasing, I got deals for both my bridesmaids dresses and my FH's groomsmen. They have a partnership with Men's Warehouse, so the colors you choose for your bridesmaids will be matched for the groomsmen as well.

I lucked out, mine was originally $900 at DB, but I got it for super sale for $99!

Here is the stock photo of my dress. I had a great experience even though it was just me and I did buy a beautiful dress. My consultant made me feel special in all the dresses at the same time she was being honest. This is not the dress I got and please forgive me in the photo but I kept this because she photo bombed it 😂

Following as I will more than likely purchase mine from there!

I forgot to add, my dress was $399 last year and I have not had it altered. At this time it looks like minimal alterations, hem and taking in the sides a bit.

I LOVED my DB Dress!

Got mine at Davids Bridal, I stalked it online for a while before finally trying it on, I tried on about 6-7 dresses and I just couldn't shake the way this one made me feel. I thought the whole "you'll cry when you find the right dress" was a crock, but it totally happened to me. My consultant put a veil on me and at that moment I imagined my FH seeing me on our wedding day and I started to cry!

Highly recommend making an appointment at the David's Bridal you want to go to. I brought just my mom with me to the appointment, it was great!

I did not get alterations done at DB, they quoted me almost 4 times what I ended up spending with a fabulous local seamstress. I would definitely do research on local seamstresses/alterations shops.

My consultant was AMAZING and I did end up purchasing a dress from them and I would recommend them to everyone!!! I picked a more expensive one (because of course I did LOL!!!) and blew my dress budget out of the water (but there was no pressure except in the tears of my mom and MOH). I think it does depend on the store because I've seen people with horrible experiences but I went on New Years Eve without an appointment and my consultant stuck with us and even my craziness of 18000 different veils (side note they are over priced there I bought one in the glow happy of finding my dress but totally ... well slightly regret it now although it does match my dress perfectly)

I bought mine from DB I am having a destination wedding, so I needed something light and flowy. I went in wanting a Blush colored dress, and that’s exactly what I got!

My advice is give your attendant information about your theme/venue so they can help narrow your choices. And also, don’t be afraid to at least try on something you think you don’t want! You might be surprised!

I purchased my dress from David's Bridal and had an amazing experience there with the stylist! She was super laid back and listened to exactly what I had envisioned myself wearing. Of the 5 or 6 dresses I tried that she chose out, I only did not like one of them, but it wasn't until the last one I put on that I teared up along with my mom, MOH, and my aunt. I took 3 of the 4 from my bridal party there and had the same stylist each time and she worked with them all and they found a dress they liked in the color I chose. I'm getting my alterations done by a local seamstress as it is closer to me so appointments are more convenient for my schedule.

Absolutely would recommend having an appointment set up instead of just walking in that way the stylist can work with you. My appointment was also on a weekday closer towards the closing time so it really was just my group in the store at the time. I didn't have to feel pressured to quickly try on dresses or feel like my stylist wasn't listening to me.

I had a wonderful experience there! My consultant was really nice and made me feel way less awkward about getting naked. They were really helpful with figuring out which ones to try on first since there were like 8 I had pulled. I ended up buying the 3rd one and walked out the door with it since it fit perfect

Side note try on all the accessories and stuff there and take good pictures. Then buy them from Amazon. That's what I did and the belt matches almost exactly and it was like 10% of the cost of the one they had. She was not pushy at all about buying all the accessories and it was nice seeing how they would look.

I actually bought this after having dress regret with my first dress. I couldn't be any happier and it was a great price.

i was so worried about dress shopping being plus sized that I wasn’t going to find anything that fit or made me feel beautiful, but I did!!! My consultant was so nice and was extremely respectful of my budget. Never pulled anything crazy out of what I wanted to spend.

Do do some research on David’s bridal
stores near you. If you’ve got multiple, look at their google reviews. That way, you can pick the one with the best customer service. Mine had nothing but rave reviews so I felt better about going in.

My only caution with David’s, is they do try to upsell you on everything. My
consultant basically told me I was getting my alterations done there and brought over an alterations lady, tried to sell me an expensive veil, shoes, slip, corset, head piece, dress preservation kit. She was very nice about it, just don’t be afraid to say no if you want to find cheaper alternatives elsewhere. I just politely had to keep
turning her down lol.

oh and also you can get their dB credit card and have no interest for 6 months if you’re paying for your own gown. This allowed me to get my dress on the spot, and I’ll have it paid off before the 6 months so I’m not stuck with any added charges.

I didn't buy from DB but did go try stuff on there. The dresses were great at a great cost. I just went on a Saturday when every and their mother (and bridal party) were there. I didn't get a mirror to myself and the attendant was pre occupied. It was all totally understandable and no big deal, my suggestion is to go when they are less busy like a weekday. That way the attendant can focus on you and really help you find what you're looking for. They have so many options, they will have something you will love I'm sure! Good luck!
