Should/can I wear my wedding dress to the post elopement cocktail party? Help!?

We're not eloping, but because FH and I are from different countries and we're getting married in the US, we're also having a cocktail party about a month later for those that can't make it. Since it's not gonna have all of the "wedding" stuff, I'm not wearing my wedding dress again. I'm wearing this champagne colored evening gown. FH is gonna wear his tux again though. It's really up to you and the formality of the party I think.

Wear your dress! My friend wore her dress at her post elopement party, and it was held in a pretty non-fancy restaurant (equivalent to a "Kelsey's") and it was fine.
