Should I buy lipstick or let my wedding makeup artist use her own?

I'm personally going to get my own so I can reapply it throughout the day if needed.

If you're that picky I'd just buy what you like.

Go ahead and buy one that you know doesn't smudge etc.

My MUA doesn't reuse any lip products from client to client. He usually gives them to me for touchups and future use as well...It may be worth asking if yours does?

APZ, she doesn't reuse anything and usually I get what she puts on me, but I haven't liked the lip gloss she gave me. I mean I like the color, but it dries out my lips (even though it's for sensitive skin). I'm just very picky. I think I may just buy my own lip stuff as it will be easier. I can also use it on the honeymoon!

I bought my own in case I needed to reapply throughout the day but I turned out I didn't, the stain lasted all night. But now I have it as a regular stain.

If you don't like what she uses--then I'd definitely go buy my own! Mine usually goes with a dior or bobbi brown lip stain and gloss, which I'm always thrilled with. means I don't have to shop for myself for everyday colors

Buy your own! I use lipsense and it doesn't smear. It stays on for 18 hours and you don't have to reapply it. I plan on wearing it on my wedding day!

My MUA told me I could use my own or buy one of her Lipsense colors. I ended up buying one of her Lipsense colors because it literally lasted all day! I didn't need to reapply. It was a little pricey but I love it.

My MUA suggested I get my own so I could reapply. I caved and bought a lipsense brand color, but I think it was totally worth the money. I didn't have to reapply the color once throughout the day. Definitely wearing it at the wedding!
