Should Bridesmaids Have the Same Hairstyle?

I only had 4 bridesmaids but did the same thing for dresses (same color but different styles) and actually felt like it’d look a bit odd for them to have uniform hairstyle but differ dresses? Just my opinion. I love how my bridesmaids looked... matching in color but also given the choice to choose their own dress style, hair style, and makeup, they felt confident and beautiful and looked like themselves Worked out non-intentionally too that my MOH picked a dress that was a different material from the others, and she had her hair down while the others chose to have updos... totally a coincidence haha and I wouldn’t have cared either way but it worked out!

I think of it this way.... would you want someone telling you how to dress or style your hair for 12+ hours? I wouldn’t. So I’m letting my girls pick the styles of their dress (as long as it’s floor length and color of my choosing) and pick how they want their hair styled.

Neena, your'e right dear. I have been in a lot of weddings and I hated not having a say in what i wore or my hair.

I fell like it's up to you and what u want them to have if ur hair will be up there's should be done and if there's down urs should be up attention should completely be on you my opinion.

No uniform hair. Just as with dresses, all hairstyles don’t fit every face. So possibly have 3 styles for them to choose from... for example: an updo, all down or half up.

I think it's fine to have them wear different hair styles since their dress will be different.

I am doing the opposite- I only have 3 in my bridal party so it is a lot easier — I had them choose a few dresses they all agreed on and then we went from there— obviously I chose the color and their hair styles can be whatever they choose- they all have different texture and length hair so it would just be crazy for me to expect them to all do the same style

Future Mrs. A, good idea, I really wanted to have 5 or 6 bridesmaids to make it more simple. My FH has such a huge family and so many friends and 11 is a significant number in our relationship so everything is 11, even our wedding date.

I have 7 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor. They will have the same hairstyle (long weave/extension ponytail). It is a easy style that all of the girls can do either on their own or with a stylist. I want a really uniform look for my bridal party.

I think they should have the same hair style because it will look different on each one, everyone will rock it differently because hair length color etc. or you can choose just a style like everyone should have an updo OG their choice or half-up/half-down of their choice.
my BM had the same M/Up and hair style. They had options for makeup but they all chose the same one. Here is a photo of mine... hope this helps!
