Should Bridesmaids Have the Same Hairstyle?

I didn’t require any particular 💆🏾‍♀️styles. I just asked for no Neon or Wild colors.

MoH1: Shaped Natural (nice)
MoH2: Faux Locs (absolutely lovely!)
BM1: A horrible Wig (her real hair would’ve been much better).
BM2: Two braids (really nice!)
🌺🙇‍♀️: High Puff with Ribbon around it (looked amazing!)

I agree Gabrielle. I have natural hair and I wear it curly or straight. Most of them have natural hair as well. Some long and some short. I think about 2 of them wear sew ins and that is fine too and long as its classy.

I personally don’t like uniform hair styles either. Not everyone has same hair, length, texture or face features. What night look good on you might not work for me. I had all my girls dress differently. I gave them color and they all picked the dress at whatever store they liked and price point they were comfortable with. The materials didn’t even match and I think it looked great. For hair I told them I wanted a braid and curls with whatever they wanted and they all had their own hairstyle done. Everyone picked a different braid and style it how they prefer it. No need to have them all uniform.

I have seen that a lot lately.

I gave my 9 BM a fabric, color, and length then they picked their own dress. They picked their own shoes & jewelry. They picked their own hair & makeup (I paid for it if they wanted it professionally done). They were much happier getting to be themselves.

No . Their basic appearance, including hair cut, style or color, or make-up, or facial hair like beards and mustaches, tattoos, is nothing you can decide on. Only clothes. And people can wear any personal jewelry, and any religious items. . . .
If you state a preference, I like the formal look of hair that is up, or the romantic look of curls on the shoulders and back, okay. But you cannot require, or push in any way to do it. People own their identity at all social functions, including weddings. You can only pick outfits of clothing.

View Quoted Comment Amen hunny!!!! Nobody got time for anybody coming looking crazy lol I'm relaxed and my hair is very long so I'm doing a pinned up style and 2 of my bridesmaids are my sisters and they do weaves and all of that. So thats why I said no exotic colors. I'll have to hurt them lol

I would give kind of a general idea of what you'd like. For instance ask everyone to wear their hair half up, and just let them do what they want from there.
