Are ya'll allowing shots at your open bar? I met with my bartender this weekend and he was asking what shots I wanted? I thought that usually open bar weddings people just stick to mixed drinks... but knowing my friends Im sure some would want shots. How did yall handle this? did you allow shots? If so, what shots did you do? My bartender is suggesting like fancy ones like royal flush, lemon drops, etc.

I've almost never been allowed to order shots at a wedding, but I know my husband has tried the obvious work-arounds... "ok then can I please have a whiskey neat and two extra cups?"
We were pleasantly surprised when the bartenders at our wedding poured shots for everyone on request, but think it might have had something to do with the hurricane and them trying to make sure our guests still had fun!

This is a great idea. FH is inviting a whole bunch of his friends and a lot of them are bachelor partiers who would like to do shots. But after dinner is a great way to keep it under control.
