I really like this idea that I saw on pinterest. I think I would set them out near the entrance of the reception area. They would be by the board that has the table assignments, instead of having the assignments listed on the toothpicks like in the picture. I don't imagine everyone would enjoy...

I don't imagine everyone would enjoy straight tequila shots, what would be your alcohol pick that would be crowd friendly? So far I've thought jello shots or a fruity something.

ETA: My venue allows shots, wedding is adult only, several bartenders will be on site overlooking the alcohol that is served.

Other than having to either give it to FH or to someone else at the table or reception (can't drink), I don't see too much of an issue. Some people might raise an eyebrow at it but I don't think anyone will come right out and say they didn't like the idea for whatever reason.

For New Year's Eve we had champagne Jell-O shots which are delicious, gorgeous and can be made to look extremely classy

I think this is really cute! My venue charges $12 per shot so we will not be doing this. HaHa!

I would say something fruity like maybe a tequila sunrise in shot form.

I'd do a "mixed" shot like some pp suggested. We are heavily considering doing this but can't have straight shots but the liquor can be diluted. It's just hard to say what everyone will like

@ashley I agree with you and I also hate fireball lol. Actually the only time I like it is when it's mixed with rumchata, tastes like cinammon toast crunch lol

I think it's an interesting idea - but I would go for something sweet or fruity like PPs have said. Straight hard liquor isn't everyone's thing, so I think more people would pass if it were a shot of whiskey or something.

Are there kids at your venue ? If so they could get ahold of it easily
