Short hair, long sleeves, and a wedding veil?

Hi everyone! Sorry if this has been asked or talked about before.

I was wondering, please, if anyone had any pictures, or experiences, of being a bride with a pixie crop hair style, a long sleeved dress, and a wedding veil? I love my short hair and have had it this way for years, and my dress is exactly what I wanted, with long sleeves and a low back.

I was really excited to try on a veil but when I put one on, my mum said I looked too old for it (I'm 32, and a fairly young looking one, or so I thought!!). Since then, I've been struggling to find any images for inspiration - or at least, pin-pointing what it is about me and the outfit that don't work!

I've seen short-haired brides look fantastic in veils, and long sleeve dresses work so well with them, too, but not really anything of them both together. Any advice or ideas or pictures would be so appreciated, thank you!

I am 34 and wearing a veil yikes, seriously I think that would look great, I don't have any pics but I can picture it and you'll look amazing

The silhouette of a pixie cut can be very similar to an updo. I don't forsee it clashing with a long-sleeved wedding dress and a veil. I will poke around though and come back with photos for you!

Do you want a long veil or are you open to a bird cage or some other alternative? Not saying you HAVE to change but just to explore your options

I don't really have anything to contribute as far as pictures BUT I wanted to say - I was 37 when I got married and wore a cathedral length veil. Tell your mom to stick her opinion where the sun don't shine and wear what makes *you* feel beautiful

Definitely not too old for a veil! I'm 36 and will be wearing one! I tried to find some inspo pics for you and found these. I think they look awesome!
I think this one is a bun, but I do think it gives a good idea of what a bob might look like!

I found some photo examples of brides with short hair, long sleeves and veils… and it looks great! I really love the veils that are attached to interesting headbands with the pixie cuts. Bird cage veils look fantastic with short hair also!

I suggest looking on Pintrest for ideas, I'm pretty sure I've come across a pixie cut + veil combo and it looked great!

I love my pixie, too. Pinterest and hairdressers all suggested a headband, but I passed. Rosie found some nice combinations and you could do the option of jeweled piece/veil or veil/ dangling earrings. Ultimately, be yourself and you will look spectacular!

Those are wonderful pics with the short hairstyle and veil. It reminds me the advice to really limit who you trust at the bridal boutiques for helping assist in your bridal choices.

I think that it would look fine. I don’t have a picture but my cousin did this. What she added was a jeweled headband to add a little oomph to her hair and I thought it looked great.
