Im having a 4 month engagement and a 150 people wedding.

Money wasn't an issue for us, our families gave us no choice and forced us to accept that THEY were paying for the wedding. My fiance and I want to be a married couple, I want to carry his name, and start a family soon, no reason to wait in my mind. We have known each other for 16 years haha but dated as adults for a year plus living together. So excited!!!

We were engaged 7 months and 3 weeks or so. We've been together for 7 years, so we just wanted to get it done.

We dated 13 months before getting engaged and our engagement will be just a few weeks shy of a year. We probably would have gotten married sooner but our venue gets decorated for the holidays and is just lovely so we decided to wait until December

Dated 1 month, moved in together and 7 years, yes Years, later engaged. He proposed in Ireland on my birthday! Wedding was going to be this past September 21- but his “darling” 22yo daughter had her tantrums and “won” and we are now, supposed to be, marrying September 19,2020. So an almost 2 year engagement.

He he is paying for 90% of the wedding. He is the one who dictated the engagement length not I, told him it might cost him more to do long one lol!

Have you been able to plan all, and are you able to get the wedding you want??

We are having a 6 month engagement. But I was finishing my masters during 3 of those months, so really only 3 months of planning. Which I'm liking because Indont have time to second guess myself. When I make a decision it's done, no time to go back & change my mind.

I'm 3 months into my engagement and when everything is said and done our engagement will be 8 months long.

I originally thought my FH crazy to cut the engagement that short because we were already a month into our engagement and hadn't really talked wedding at all! But two months later and here we are with our venue (all-inclusive) decided (after over 30 inquires), theme/colors picked, and a ton of tiny details in the works.

We are only inviting 70 people and we originally chose March as our wedding date because I work in education so spring break! Wedding and honeymoon with guaranteed time off every year for the anniversary. We ended up moving the wedding date up to February because our venue had no ceremony fee that month.

My engagement will be around 2 years. My fiance put off getting the car he wanted to propose, so I want him to get that before we get married. Plus we want to save up before starting to hire vendors. ❤ that doesnt mean I'm not already planning though 😂

We haven't set a date yet, but if we get our desired date, we'll have a 17-month engagement.

Our engagement will be a total of 10 months. I could've easily done a 4 month engagement as most of the planning was done within the first 2 months of the engagement, but we wanted to get married on Leap Day so that's why we waited (we were originally planning on fall wedding but pushed it back to Leap Day when we saw it was a Saturday next year). Smiley smile Our parents are, also, paying for the wedding so we didn't have to save for it. Our guest list is at around 350 people.

We have dated for 5 years and will be engaged for 1.5 years before we marry. I think long engagements are closer to two years, but I honestly think shorter engagements are closer to 6 months! We are waiting until we graduate with our undergraduate degrees.

We will have been engaged for almost a year exactly! He proposed on December 23, 2018 and we are getting married on December 21, 2019! We will be together 3 years this October, but I met him in high school in 2013. I originally wanted the wedding in November, just because it's my favorite month and I didn't want to wait more than a year, but the Best Man is at military training so we had to push it back to make sure he would be there. I'm okay with that though because I LOVE Christmas! Less than 100 days left, I'm getting excited Smiley smile

We had an 11 month engagement and lived together for 3 months before the big day. We were ready but not in a rush.

Congrats! My fiancé and I were engaged in July and will be getting married next October! We want a Fall wedding but have no money saved up and will be paying for it all ourselves. With a 14 month engagement I hope to have everything planned and arranged well in advance (because ~anxiety~)

We will have been engaged slightly over 10 months. We are having a 100 guest wedding. I was dead set on an October wedding and we got engaged at the very end of November 2018. I did not want to wait an entire extra year for the following October, so that’s how we ended up with a 10 month an a couple of weeks engagement. Our dream venues last available aturday in October was October 5th, so we snagged it! We are getting married this weekend and I absolutely cannot wait!!

We've been engaged since 07/03/16 in the midst of me going to school, him living long-distance, me then graduating, and started a new life in a new town. Will be married 07/11/20. We are paying for 3/4 of the wedding ourselves as well for 120 guest count.
