Shoes...save or splurge

Not sure if I should save $ and get a simple shoe that I can maybe use in the future...or splurge on a statement shoe that would barely see under the dress... Thoughts?!

I bought an inexpensive pair of gold sparkly kitten heels for the 30 minutes of ceremony and detail shots for $40, and then a very comfortable pair of Taos white canvas sneakers for the rest of the evening and everyday wear.

Firstly, that dress is stunning on you! Second of all, I struggled with this as well! I went with save and get a more comfortable simple shoe that I can wear again (also def wearing them on my honeymoon. I used Just Fab and got two pairs for day of just in case, but I agree with most posters here, if they’re not being seen why spend so much?
Here’s my shoes, I paid $40 for both combined

I found a gorgeous pair of nude bejeweled Badgley Mischka high heeled sandals on sale for $120 something at Bloomingdales and with extra discount code they came out for less than $100. Score! I started with a plain pair of Nina heels but the color really wasn’t right for my dress. FYI Macy’s always has great sales and Nina does have a nice line of evening/bridal shoes.

I think I'll save and just use it as an opportunity to get a new pair of comfy but dressy shoes. Smiley smile My main concern is whether they'll be comfortable or not. I get so grouchy when my feet hurt, and flats are not automatically "comfy" IMO. A little heel/wedge is my favorite.

Definitely shop around and see if you can do both! But if not, I vote save.

I'd say go simple and inexpensive. Really only you'll know they're down there. I got mine from khols and I'm excited. I'll also wear them again
