Shoes for Bridesmaids

I decided on mis matched/ pick your own dresses bc my girls comfort is largely important to me and shoes are a big part of it. When we eventually get together for wedding stuff we can discuss how we will match to harmonize the look. So far I'm thinking flower crowns to counter my eucalyptus crown.


Side note: if I had to say this wedding had a sub theme, it's definitely mix and match/ thrifty chic. Main theme is plants so I am stuffing them in wherever possible

Since our ceremony is outside I’m going to tell them to wear a chunky/block heel. I would love everyone in nude shoes but it’s okay if they do something different

My bridesmaids will be in sage green, I’m letting them pick their own shoes but asked that they choose a nude shade!

I opted for long dresses so I didn’t even have to think about it (if they’d have been in shorter dresses I’d want some coordination since the shoes would be showing!). Truth be told I have absolutely no idea what any of them wore for shoes day of 🤣. I just advised them as best I could about the terrain (sand, grass) and let them figure out what would be most comfortable for them. I didn’t even bother suggesting a color, no one saw them anyway!

Out bridal party is wearing mismatched outfits so all the girls get to pic strappy sandals of their choice so long as they're some form of brown... im in a wedding in October and were all wearing mismatched shoes in sparkly rose gold

I'm getting married on Valentine's day in Ohio, so for all we know, there could be snow! Even with an indoor ceremony, they still will need to walk in/out, so letting them choose what they're comfortable in. I'm wearing converse, so despite the theme being very elegant, I want everyone to be comfortable without having to take their shoes off to dance

I gave them a color (Silver) and let them pick their own style of heel. Only one may need to wear flats due to health issues. I trust their taste.
