I had the idea of just telling them a color, but then I started looking at some. My MOH and I talked a bit together about them, and then I talked with all my girls in a group message about them and sent them one I was thinking about. They loved it but suggested the beige instead of gray and I think they did good.

I picked a few styles and sent them to my girls to let them choose. Since I wanted them to all have the same shoes, the shoe that got the most votes was the winner! Worked out great for me and it still allowed them to have a say in the matter.

I’m letting choose whatever they want. Not picking a color either. All I’m saying is recommending that they wear closed toe shows because it will be winter and possibly snow. But they don’t have to follow that, I just think it’s smarter haha.

I had let my girls pick their shoes. They had 2 pairs; one for the wedding and chucks blinged out for the reception.

I honestly just told them to wear a pair they already have if they didn’t want to buy a pair 🤷🏼‍♀️ their dresses are long and they bought their own dresses so I felt bad making them buy shoes too

I let them choose their own show style but they are all wearing the same color shoes.

I just told mine to wear whatever they wanted. At first I was thinking of having them all wear the same color shoes, but then I realized that with them wearing long dresses, no one is going to see their shoes anyway. Plus one of my bridesmaids tore her ACL so she had very limited shoe options that she could wear that didn't hurt her knee, and I wasn't about to make her go out and buy different ones in a specific color just for my wedding. She wore black shoes (because those were literally the only shoes she had other than sneakers that didn't hurt her to wear lol), another bridesmaid wore silver, my MOH wore nude, and I'm actually not even sure what color my other bridesmaid's shoes were... I think silver too...? But like, if I didn't even notice, I am sure no one else did either

My bridesmaids dresses are long. I told them the color and am letting them pick out their own shoes. I think if the dresses are short , pick the shoe for them. If it's long, just give them a color. No one really notice

My bridesmaids have varying comfort levels of heel, varying shades of shoes, varying styles, etc.

All are picking whatever shoe they feel most comfortable in. Their dresses/jumpsuits are longer, but I'm still cool with various shoe colors/styles showing if it happens.

Let them pick. Give a guideline like black shoes and let them decide if they want heels, flats, etc

I’m letting them choose the shoe, I just gave them silver color. I don’t see it as fair for me to decide the shoe, they have to be comfortable in it, they should have some say in the footwear

I am letting my girls choose their own sandal but it has to be the same color. Their dresses are longer therefore no one is going to see them.

I'm picking the color and giving guidelines. I have my ladies lined up by height (their choice) and so I asked them all to pick shoes around the same height of heels so that we don't need to change the order.
