Share your Yes Day vs First Fitting! 👗

I just picked up my dress (that came in just two weeks after I ordered it!!!) and I didn't think it was possible, but I love it even more than when I bought it! It's a little big actually (what a great feeling) but being able to see what the dress is SUPPOSED to look like on me was an AMAZING feeling today. Consultants always do their best, and mine crushed it, but you can only do so much with a couple of Bungie cords.


Anyway, here's my dress the day I bought it:
and here's MY dress before alterations!I'm completely obsessed with the back. Due to the size of the sample before, I was just sort of trusting that the back was cute. And instead the back is perfect.
The straps need taken up and the sides need taken in but it's completely wonderful and I'm so in love. It's amazing to see what the lace is supposed to look like on a dress designed to be your size, and to see what the cups are supposed to do for your girls.
