Share the Bargain Buys that kept you on Budget!

Taylor, on January 14, 2020 at 9:49 AM Posted in Planning 2 10

Hey ladies! I know that weddings are a little stressful and a lot expensive! Over the course of my planning, I've found that trying to differentiate between which Pinterest find is within my grasp and which is out of budget can be a little of a let down. I'll get an idea in my head and then find myself disappointed when I see the pricetag. That being said, there's almost always a cheaper alternative! I'll post a few of the steals I've found belowSmiley smile

Seal InspoShare the Bargain Buys that kept you on Budget! 1

I saw this seating chart on Pinterest and thought it was super elegant and simple but pretty!

Seal. Share the Bargain Buys that kept you on Budget! 2

Here is the seal I ordered from Aliexpress for $5! It has our initials and wedding dateSmiley smile I bought a big gold mirror off Facebook marketplace and plan on printing the table assignments on cardstock in calligraphy.

Cookie BagsShare the Bargain Buys that kept you on Budget! 3

I also found these stickers on AliExpress! I ordered the bottom left one with our engagement photo on it! It says Thank you, our names, and wedding date. I bought the plain white cookie bags and will put our homemade cookies in them and seal them with these as favors. I got 200 stickers for $10. The bags were like $5. Personalized bags on Etsy cost $100-$150. Waiting on these to arrive but the reviews are great!

RunnerShare the Bargain Buys that kept you on Budget! 4

This is a 15 FOOT runner that I purchased for $8. It will go on the head table and a garland will lay over it.

Custom SignShare the Bargain Buys that kept you on Budget! 5

This is a pretty well known website that is running a GREAT sale right now. I just ordered a framed 2 ft X 4 ft sign of one of our engagement photos for $60 shipped. It retails for $300. I don't have a photo of it but it got here last night and the quality is SO GOOD! We'll be putting the sign on the sign in table. Right now it's waiting to be hung in the houseSmiley smile This would be really good for bridal portraits too.

These are only a few of the steals I managed to find! Please share some of yours!

You found a lot of good stuff! So far my best bargain has been my bridesmaid pajamas from boohoo.com for $10.

    bridesmaid Pajamas for $10

I also got my invitation from zazzle during their black Friday sale. I was able to purchase 50 invitations and 100 insert cards for $67.50.

Those are the only two sales I've caught so far. We hired a decorator so I won't be buying any decor.

Not as much of a deal, but my wedding flowers! We had set aside $1200 but only spent $470 on : a bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 6 boutonnières, 2 pin on corsages (for the females in FH wedding party) and 2 wrist corsages for our moms.
Also managed to get 15 12” tea light lanterns, tea lights, and pearl garland for $50 to make our centerpieces.
My nails are going to be discounted as well as my FH’s aunt works as a nail tech Oh! My shoes!!!! JUSTFAB IS LIFE LADIES. I purchased my wedding heels and a pair of wedges for the reception for $30 when my heels were originally $80 alone

Flowers are expensive! You got a great deal for all of that! I think I'm going to use Fifty Flowers and arrange them myself to save a little money. I've heard so many great things about Just Fab! I'll have to check it out. Do you have a picture of your shoes??

I went with Enjoy Flowers- they’re an online company so it makes it easier to get the flowers discounted and they get shipped to you two days before so if there’s any issues they can express ship you a new batch the next day.

And of course! I wanted some that were comfy but cute Share the Bargain Buys that kept you on Budget! 6

So far my biggest bargain has been my wedding dress! Originally $800, got it for $200. It was a discontinued style, the last one in any stores around, AND it was my size. Bought it and walked out with it that day!

That's AWESOME!!! I tried going to a consignment shop to find a dress and didn't have any luck. Beautiful gowns! They just didn't give me that "feeling".
