Like everyone else, I’m beyond worried and stressed over the thought of my wedding being ruined by this damn virus. I pray that it ends soon so we can all get back to normal. Because I’m feeling so overwhelmed and come here to get comfort in knowing others are in the same boat as me, I wanted to...

Because I’m feeling so overwhelmed and come here to get comfort in knowing others are in the same boat as me, I wanted to start a thread to share positivity.
If anyone has ANYTHING positive to share- whether it’s hopeful news about this, something good that happened to you, etc. please share. ❤️

3/30-4/10. We still have the time off. We had been thinking of going to a cabin in the woods — but we’re doctors and my job asked us not to travel at all outside our city, just in case my colleagues get sick and they need more help at the hospital.

Here’s to hoping everyone stays healthy over the next few weeks and beyond!!

Yes, one of the vendors at the event had a Llama rental service. These were the two llamas one could possibly “rent” to have greet guests or make an appearance at cocktail hour. 😂

Fiancé firmly told me no llamas at our wedding cuz they might spit on my dress.

I think we should all be thankful and focus on the bigger picture of marrying our fiances regardless of having the big grand wedding. I myself am an April 25, 2020 bride but I'm trying to focus on the planning and marrying my soon to be husband and hoping everything can wind down.

Hi! 20 days til our wedding on April 4. We are still
Planning on having it although guessing a much lower guest count... we had to cancel our honeymoon to Italy and just overall sad about this whole thing.

But, no matter what we will be married and starting our new lives together in 20Days and i think that’s the silver lining we all have to keep remembering through these hard times.

My honeymoon is scheduled for Italy too. Im so sorry you had to cancel. I know it isn’t the same as going right after, but maybe you can still go a few months after or at the one year mark?

Here’s some hopeful news, although I know it takes a long time for the general public to get it. Still something hopeful.

My love and I found pretty close to matching blue for our pre-wedding pictures for our destination wedding next weekend. We are going ahead as planned though likely postponing the April reception to maybe end of May. So far only spent about 200 bucks for hold deposit and head table decor items. At least now we’ll have more time to save for extras that we may want later since I’m doing a lot of the decor and dessert table myself.

At least we don’t have to practice social distancing from dogs!

My FH is working remotely for the time being so our dog is getting extra dad time. Still hoping we can have our 5/30/20 wedding as planned, hopefully with our parents (who are in their 70s) and the same number of guests (60-80), but just in wait-and-see mode for the time being. Trying to stay positive, but it's hard (I've been crying a lot), and having a pupper to smother definitely helps!

Maybe we can use the money that we (hopefully) get back from our deposits to buy a house?

We decided to postpone our wedding. It was supposed to be March 28, 2020 however we are pushing till August 2020. It was the right decision for us because over half of our guest list did not live where the wedding was being held, including my parents and sister. With that being said, my fiance and I have mostly rescheduled our wedding, have had the love and support of our family, friends, and vendors, and are going to the courthouse this afternoon to get legally married. We are bummed we had to postponed because excited about our decision to still get married anyway. Much love to you and everyone else on here deal with this.

We did have our wedding on Saturday 3/14/20! And, we had about 80% of those who RSVP'd actually come. We are very blessed to have such good friends and supportive family.

Not wedding related, but I can't really think much about my wedding right now.

SO... My fiance and I might be adopting another dog (we already have two) so we can have something to look back at this tough time and say was a great thing that happened! (In addition to staying alive and well of course...) We are waiting to hear back on our application and schedule a meet and greet for our current pups.
