September wedding invite deadline

Same date and I sent mine out last week!

Date twins!! I've fallen behind myself due to an unexpected death in the family. But plan on getting on them....like yesterday!! Haha

I'm September 9th and just sent mine out last week. End of July should be fine!

It really depends on when your venue/caterer needs the headcount but end of July should be fine.

Set you avatar and you'll get more responses. It all depends on when your venues needs your head count. Mine wants it 9/1. I just mailed my invites on Friday. The 6-8 week rule is "typical" but there are a lot of factors. Out of towners? Maybe a DW? But if you know your crowd and venue maybe end of the month is fine for you.

6-8 weeks prior is correct. The earliest they should go out is July 29.

Depends on vendors and if it's out of town. If NOT you should be good!

Always keep in mind where they are being sent. We have an invite going to Singapore, so we plan to send ours out end of July.

I'm the weekend before you and I wasn't planning on sending ours out for another two weeks. For what it's worth, I've been using The Knot's checklist -- I feel like the timeline makes a lot more sense to me.

I sent out our invitations early. I have some out of the country guests.

My FH got an invite for a wedding in End of Sept back in April. He had until next week to decide if he is coming. No STD, just the invite. Wedding is over 1300 miles away though. But even closer people got theirs the same time. He's not going. Too much $ for a 3rd cousin he's met twice in his life he said.

Date twin! I would have sent mine out today, but I had to wait until hobby lobby restocked the envelopes I was using. I'm going to finish addressing them & hopefully have them in the mail by Friday.

I think the end of July should be fine depending on when your venue needs final numbers. Mine needs it kind of early.

I'm 2 weeks before you and we haven't sent ours out yet. The last week of July isn't "fine," it is when you should be sending them! (Unless of course your final numbers are due like August 1 for some reason).

Date twin! I only have a handful of OOT guests, most of which will not attend anyway. We're sending them in a week or two. My caterer is a restaurant that can change the numbers up until the day before the wedding, so we can get away with a shorter RSVP timeline.
