September or October wedding?? Help!!

Mine is in the beginning of October. The weather is almost perfect.

I thought so too, I just get cold so easily & I didn't want to be too cold when it gets dark, but I didn't want it to be too hot for everyone else in September

Seeing as how you haven't picked a date, it's obvious you don't have any vendors. You're 8 months away with no vendors picked, looking at peak wedding season. Good luck. You need to just pick and move on. You're about to be having much larger troubles trying to find good vendors that aren't booked.

#TeamSeptember haha...I have no real reasoning, it just happened to work out for us with our ceremony and reception venues. I also HATE being cold, so we opted for September over October.

I wanted Oct, the only date open was Sept 25. I took it, it was a great day. Not sure what kind of rain you get but pick whichever is less typically rainy. Dates don't matter because kids are already in school by then so guests don't care in that sense.

I've got the venue picked, I was actually there last night. I'm just trying to pick between the available dates given to me. I've got pretty good connections for just about everything else we need. Thanks!

I live in the North Texas area. It can be cold in September and October. But it usually isnt that cold on either dates. And around those times it can get cooler but later in the night time. For this area, you need to book a venue ASAP. You are talking about getting married in very popular months for Texas.

From just reading your new comment I say go for how soon you want to be married. Also go by how soon you can book the other vendors too.

We are doing early september and waiting until sunset so that it will be cooled off!

Not sure where you live but in upstate New York it's not always so warm in October.

A lot depends what date your venue has open. Is it all outdoor? I went to a wedding October 6th and it was perfect weather for the ceremony but got chilly later so indoor reception was perfect. Texas to me is still so hot in September

It could be in the 90s in September in Texas. I would pick the October date. It was still in the 80s in October this past year.

Our venue is gonna be all outdoors! So I'm feelin the pressure to make sure I get the date right for weather purposes
