My wedding is on September 12,2020 and I’m not planning on canceling it but I am wondering what everyone is doing about there honeymoon plans... I was about to buy our flight tickets/ hotel room for our honeymoon but now I’m not sure if I should... What’s everyone’s opinion?!

I think if you want to feel assured then try adding on travel protection, I don’t think it costs much to. But that way you could cancel or something in case you need to

We are in October and are goin g to Hawaii. We went though AAA for everything and the added travel insurance was only about 150 so worth it will all this going on.

Hello! Date twin! My fiancé and I are still planning to go to Bali in October. We booked our hotel accommodations months ago! And we literally booked our flight a week before all this fully happened. (We cancelled our trip to Italy over a month ago so we wanted something else travel to look forward to) we did get insurance on the flight. Now I’m more worried about the wedding and people not wanting to come then that trip. 🙈 good luck! Stay healthy!

We are just doing a mini moon. If anything you could do a long weekend if you are worried about things then always book a bigger trip later when things are very calm.

Hi! We're September 19th and we've decided to hold off on booking the honeymoon as we don't know how far this thing will go. We initially had everything mapped out and ready for Europe but then when the outbreak came it was a huge NO! So now we're just waiting unfortunately and just researching other options.

We bought our tickets back in January for our honeymoon in Japan 8/28-9/7. Really really hoping that we don't need to figure out how to cancel and re-coup the points. All our hotels are booked as well, only one is non-refundable thankfully. If you buy, just make sure it's refundable or you have travel insurance.

We're also getting married on September 12th! Smiley smile We've decided on a closer mini-moon this year with everything going on, likely in Mexico or the Bahamas. We're definitely getting travel insurance. Then a bigger trip next year for our one year anniversary.

Our Wedding is September 4th, and we booked our honeymoon to Maui early this year. We live in Southern California and both our families have to travel from the East Coast. At this time we are waiting to June to look at moving the wedding and the honeymoon if we think our families won’t be able to travel safely! You can cancel the hotels with no penalties but not sure about the plane tickets! Really hoping we are getting back to normal by June 🙏

I would say you can still plan something, but buy insurance for everything so you can have piece of mind should something change

The airlines are being more flexible about canceling flights. I just canceled for a family vacation next month and they gave an e-credit that can be used later at least for a year
