September 2019 brides! We are 8/9 months away! What all do you have planned this far and what still needs done? I have booked my venue (all inclusive), Dj, and photographer! I’ve ordered save the dates and plan to send them out next month.
I am accualy getting married on my parents farm! As for food we are just doing a pot luck, worked great for my brother's wedding. Found a DJ and a possible photographer. Still have plenty to do however! Need to book the vacation spot, get my dress altered (going to wear my mothers wedding dress), make decorations, and so much more! Good thing there is still time! Haha
We have the venue (including catering/uplighting/etc), photographer, videographer, DJ, officiant, hair and makeup artist, my dress/veil, and the guest list all finished (just need to gather the last few addresses). Our engagement shoot is at the end of this month, so hopefully we'll send the save the dates out next month. I'm having my bridesmaids order their dresses from Azazie, so I'm going to send them all the info on it (I have the swatches picked out) sometime in the next week or so. Next on the list, hotel room blocks, florist, and cake.
Honestly though...I have friends who got engaged and married in about 3-6 months, so you got this!!
I have my dress and am still looking for photographer and discussing everything else. Going to be hiring venue and other services this month or February.
I'm having troubles deciding on a photographer! I'm trying not to sacrifice quality for cost, but am definitely needing to be reasonable. I have a choice to make between a less experienced individual for around $750 or a more experienced individual for $1200. Of course the more experienced individual has more galleries to review and can better visualize for our wedding. What should I do?!
Well I have decided to do everything in one setting with the Chapel. The package includes everything and plan to do something with close family afterwards.

All I need to do are small details -Finalize the food choices -Select the cake flavor, dress fitting (still on order been 4 months) -Finalize the paperwork wording (invites, programs etc) designs are picked. -Narrow down the music 2 year engagement is definitely paying off.

We are both physicians in residency / fellowship. This has been tough to get done but we're doing one thing at a time.
I have my venue (all inclusive), DJ, florist, rentals (chairs for ceremony), cake, make-up, and hair all booked and deposits paid. I have our save the dates ready to be dropped in the mail at the end of next month and invites have arrived just need assembled. Dress is bought and bridesmaid have theirs as well. We have the cake tasting scheduled and make up trial all lined up. I am working on finalizing my center pieces. We need to do tux fittings and order flower girl dresses as well.
WOW I am super far behind!! I just booked my venue, chosen menu and bar options, and picked an officiant (a family member). I have all the decorations, flowers, colors all planned out in my head, pinned on pinterest, and saved on etsy. Save the dates are being ordered. I'm hoping to go dress shopping this weekend. My FH still hasn't chosen a best man; but he knows who all the groomsman will be. I feel like there is not much time left!!!
9-1-19 booked the caterer and the DJ still working on the venue, dress and all the other stuff. I’m currently not working so I’ll get most of it done by Feb.
Currently we are trying to narrow down a caterer. We have decided to do a Tack Bar. Which is totally different from our theme, but we love tacos and it’s our wedding!! We have a few cake tastings next month. Then just paying everyone off!
