I've got venue, catering (cake included), band, photographer, dress, bridesmaid dresses picked out, hotel block which luckily includes a shuttle, florist, and officiant - we asked my brother to do it and we're so excited! Doing engagement shoot this weekend (we're hoping for quick turnaround time to do save the dates and to finish our wedding website), and have our catering tasting the first week of Feb. The one big downside is our venue is BYOB so our next big project is finding the cheapest available wholesaler for liquor/beer!

We are neck deep in planning mode! Here's what we have so far:

    - Ceremony & reception site

    - Invitations

    - Our theme

    - DJ

    - Flowers (got a great rate @ Southern Blooms - wooden flowers)

    - Dance floor

    - Photographer

    - Videographer

    - Day-of planner

    - Website Completed

    - All dresses purchased

    Things in the works

    - Eco-friendly dinnerware (waiting for samples from companies)

    - Catering (we have our last tasting tomorrow, and then will hire)

    - Decor (we have some, and are working on the rest)

    - Games (we have a carnival theme, and will be building games for the reception)

We've done quite a bit - most of it this week. Somehow I still feel like there's a ton to do!

Oops... forgot a few things. We also have our hair stylist, know who the baker will be (but still have to choose the cake), have an officiant (my daughter), the flower girls (there is no ring bearer), and have most of our song lists formulated for the DJ. I'm sure there's more but I don't have the list in front of me right now.

We booked our venue, all inclusive ( tables, chairs, linens, photography, dj, cake and centerpieces) although I've taken to making our centerpieces and will have the venue set them up... Made a list of dresses to be tried, asked 3 of my 5 girls officially to be in my bridal party. Decided in theme and colors... Picked out menu, but haven't met with venue to officially plan menu, bridesmaid proposal boxes almost done (did that part a little backwards since some girls already know 🤷whoops) set up some pages of the website and the registry.

Trying to gauge if i'm ahead or behind because i'm doing all the planning myself.

So far we have the venue, dress, caterer, photographer, florist, hotel block and i sent an email save the date because 100% of our guests and family are flying in so I was starting to get questions. Oh and i did setup the webiste and registry and "proposed" to my bridemaids.

Still to go: videographer, day-of coordinator, cake, DJ, invitations, engagement photos, bridesmaid dresses and groomsmens suits, makeup & hair artists, wedding favors. I also haven't picked the menu or flowers yet so there's that too. I still need to get him a wedding band... oh and the honeymoon.

    so much to do!

How's everyone keeping to their budget? So hard! I'm only 1K over so far. i'm hoping to bring it back in the green by shaving off little bits here and there.

We are pretty far along, and yet still feels like all the little things will take up the rest of the time. We also had a small city hall ceremony in October so a number of things were ✔️off for that (and we got engaged Dec 2017 so lots of time to plan).

    Booked/done:

Colors/theme, venue/date locked in, photographer & videographer, DJ, picked up the dress the other week, have both our rings, month of coordinator, caterer & menu, hair and makeup artist, florist, confirmed with a friend who will be our celebrant, save the dates (sent out a batch yesterday, waiting on a couple more addresses to label and send next week) ordered invites (small amount mostly for family - managing our guest list thru our site)

    To do:

Book dessert vendor, confirm rentals, book strings (if in budget), write ceremony & vows, get signage and auxiliary decor items, pick out wedding party outfits (just a MOH and best man) & groom's outfit

    Constantly working on:

Wedding budget (and website and registry it seems Smiley tongue )

Booked the venue, decided on a menu, photographer, DJ booked, wedding dress ordered-fitting in 2 weeks, save the dates out (people coming from other countries) bridal party informed- no attire yet

have to arrange flowers and center pieces, order invitations, book places to stay

those without a dress, i would not wait any longer! it took my dress 6 months to be ordered and shipped to the bridal salon. If you have to order it, then DO NOT WAIT!

I actually have most of my wedding planned. I have my dress. Booked the venue, also an all-inclusive, in Jamaica. We've sent out our wedding invitations (a custom bottle of wine). Did the wedding website here with all the travel information and personal pics and videos. We've decided on the giveaways and found the vendors. The DJ and photographer are personal friends so we have that covered in our guest list. At this point, my next step is consulting the venue on decor.

Where are you going for your wedding?

Sounds like you’re well on your way! It’s nice having a lot done already so there’s less stress as the date approaches!!

I have the venue, DJ & photobooth (same company), photographer, save the dates and my dress.

Still need to figure out hair and makeup, work on my DIY center prices and bouquet, and figure out the details of accessories.

My FH and I have discussed and decided on favors but haven’t ordered yet. We also decided on invites but need to work with the vendor on those more.
