Soooo exciting !! So far I have booked my church, venue, photopgrapher/videographer, band, florist, limousines, my dress, bridesmaid dresses, hair and makeup. We took our engagement pictures and have my save the dates which will be sent this month. I still have to buy my shoes and accessories, gifts for the bridal party, fiancé attire, wedding bands (rings), invitations, our honeymoon and register. Its definitely a lot. The goal for january is ro send the save the dates, order our invitations (programs and place cards also) and book our honeymoon. Keep in mind were about to close on the house we just bought sometime this month so we have ALOT going on !!!!

September 7th, 2019 wedding here. We have our venue, officiant, DJ with photobooth, photographer, my dress, all our linens, caterer, our engagement session complete. We sent out our save the dates Got our wedding invites. I have all the flowers for bridal party. Meeting with our baker in a few weeks. I was working on centerpieces today.
Our venue (all inclusive), dj and photographer are booked! my dress and the bridesmaid dresses are ordered and we meet with a florist at the end of the month 😬
Oh man...that isn't much time at all, is it? =D We have our venue all set and just booked a photographer, and today I'm going wedding dress shopping! Since I do graphic design, I'm planning on making my own invitations around March and sending them out in April/May.
My friend also has a September 2019 wedding, and she sent out save the date cards back in November. I'm wondering, how do you all feel about them in general? I feel like 8/9 months away isn't quite enough time for me to justify using them, but I also want to make sure that everyone who I want to be present is available! Perhaps if I just send out the invites early?
I have my dress purchased and deposits placed on the church, all-inclusive venue and photographer. Outstanding items include everything else attire-wise for the wedding day, florist (almost set - just need to review our last Q&A and send in check), DJ (narrowing down option), save the dates (still need to take photos that will be in Feb/March which doesn't thrill me but oh well), invitations, photobooth (TBD if we'll have one), menu, hair and makeup for day-of (narrowing those down too).
Am I missing anything?? How many of you out there are so over planning and finding vendors. Is it just me?
I'm getting married in mid-September and we've decided to send our save the dates out by mid March because we kind of ran out of time. I think six months is okay but I'm not positive.
Have the church, venue, photographer, mariachi, florist, save the dates, veil, dress, cake cutting utensils custom made, toast glasses, headpiece, and church accessories! Still need to hand out all save the dates, book a DJ and band, centerpieces, venue decor, invitations, order BM dresses, order GM tuxes and shoes, flower girl dresses, and figure out what food to serve.😅
We booked our venue. I bought my dress. Have the hotel done. Save the dates ordered. Going to look at photography, dj, and florist next weekend but pretty much have them set (been talking with them). Also going to book my hair/makeup girl sometime this week or next. Going for the girls dresses this weekend.
Hi there! I've booked the venue, photographer, DJ, officiant, and day of coordinator. I have the save-the-dates at home and am gearing up to send them out. I have also found my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses but have not gone to get the boys their suits yet. One thing that I have not booked yet which is really stressing me out is the caterer! Each time I have an initial conversation with one they say it'll take a few days to send over the proposal then I never receive one. Any suggestions? I also still need to book the florist and baker but am in communication with some that will likely follow through.
We booked our venue almost a year ago and have had to cancel it last week as they were so unorganized and basically lied to us about pricing and activities for the wedding. We just booked another venue but had to change the date and resend save the date cards. We have booked photographer, dj, and venue (all inclusive). Looking for something else besides a photobooth for entertainment for the day
Booked a DIY reception venue, got permit for ceremony on the bay, a photographer, DJ, bartender & a wedding taquiza caterer. Dont want pick dress till spring. On a diet and if go now not sure dress will fit since losing weight. Haven't picked cake or florist yet or the linens. Have all the huricane vases for centerpieces and lanterns for ceremony.
I've booked the venue, photographer and port-a-john. hahaha....But the Port-a-John is nicer than the bathroom in my house!! Hate dress shopping in the winter for a summer wedding
I read 6 to 8 weeks for invites... We have a initial and secondary guest list since or site has a capacity we must adhere by... Should we send invites earlier? Like 10-12 weeks? So whever declines we have time send 2nd list out? We do have out state guests...? Thoughts
