Any other September 2019 brides out there? I thought we could share where we are at in our planning process. I have booked my venue, wedding planner, bartender, DJ and officiant!

Just got engaged! I'm thinking Sept. 2019, but no set date. We are looking at venues this weekend. We have started our guest list, so we have an idea of how big the venue will need to be. We haven't decided on the wedding party, dress, decor, colors, indoor/outdoor, reception, ceremony, menu....nothing has been done yet. We do kind of have a vision though.

Update on where we are at!

We had a mishap with our officiant and just finally booked someone new! We officially have all vendors hired, deposits in and I just finished my budget list for finally deposited with dates. We have majority of our save the dates out, aside from a few last minute addresses I am waiting on from FMIL.

My FH is in the Air Force and will be returning in March after 5 months away. We plan to start our registry, look at groomsmen attire, research honeymoons, and look at wedding bands when he gets home!

I decided on the bridesmaid dresses, and we are going to get all ladies sized and dresses ordered next month together! Still deciding on flower girl dresses. Does anyone have any recommendations on where they have looked for these?

Where are you at in your planning?

Hey guys... thought this thread could do with a bump.

193 days to go and we've both decided to try and change our date from Friday 20th September to Saturday 21st September. I'm waiting for the clock to hit 9am so i can call and see if i can change the date.

Yesterday was a whole day of wedding planning.
The mr decided he wants his dad as best man after telling me he wanted no one.
He discussed what he wants for decorations for star wars room
    Then we discussed changing dates

Yesterday I ordered stuff to make DIY paper flowers for the reception & make 2 table layout designs which the Hubs 2 be is happy for me to go ahead and do.

Made a new invite for proposed new date however not ordered until i know for definate but it's done so if we can move it i can go ahead and order,

hope you ladies are getting on well xx

My wedding is on September 21st! I still have a lot to do but wish that time would go by faster!!

I have my venue, my dress, photographer and a few miscellaneous things. My FH is so engaged in the planning and has been such a huge help. I cant wait to have all the big things out of the way though, less stress.

What types of flowers will you be having???

My bouquet has eucalyptus seeded, silver dollar, babies breath, garden roses peach juliet, lisianthus apricot, ranunculus white & succulent green. My bridesmaids will have the same as above, but instead of ranunculus white & succulent green, they will have thistle blue instead to match our colors. The guys will have boutonnieres with eucalyptus seeded, ranunculus white & thistle blue.

My centerpieces are ruscus and salal garland, 8ft across the farm tables. Then we are using loose white hydrangea throughout the garland.

188 days away! We officially have the bridesmaids dresses ordered and paid for. My bachelorette party has been booked by my bridesmaids, I am so excited! I just know that we are taking a weekend trip to Fort Myers, FL! I am finalizing the contract with the hair and makeup stylists for the morning of. Has anyone else done this yet? I am trying to decide to pay a portion of my girls' services towards their gifts, or just have them pay in full. They know the pricing but I don't know what to do yet. I bought my wedding band; it goes so well with my engagement ring!

We plan to shop for FH's ring next month. We will also be starting our registry for our bridal shower next month. Has anyone started theirs yet? Where did you choose to register?

We cannot decide yet on a honeymoon. As I am a teacher, we are going to take a minimoon after the wedding (still undecided on where), then we will take a real one a few months after when I am on school break. Where are you going on your honeymoon?

It's all starting to get real! Smiley heart

    So sorry for delayed reply,
I started a new job thats full time (7.15am until 6pm) so not been able to get on much.
Yes, thankfully we were able to switch the ceremony to Saturday 21st. We now get married at 12:15pm and will have the party as planned at 7pm which would help make the day flow better.

    Recent planning happenings;
    * My friend didn't show up to do my hair and make up trial so told her (in a nice way) that i found someone else. My M.O.H has agreed to do my make up for free (will be paying her but will arrange for this after the wedding)

    * Found a veil I loved - went to buy it and shipping was too high so found another one i liked instead and will be buying soon
    * Sorted decorations for the reception out and am so excited about it though a lot of DIY bits to do.
    * Contacted a few people about cakes, only have 1 on our short list so far

    * Found cheap rental for chair covers

    * been updating our onenote of all wedding things so i always have it on hand now even though i have a paper planner, i like the option of being able to easily add images and to move stuff around/easily customise for purpose

    For bridesmaids,
I've put aside the same amount of money for each and have said
I can either pay towards a dress they want if expensive of if cheaper i cna pay the whole outfit
