Hello Lovers of Love,
I want to avoid my fiancé seeing me in my dress until the actual ceremony but he wants to rent a classic car to take us to and pick us up from the venue. We will also be providing transportation for the bridesmaids, groomsmen and family that has to fly in. The original plan was to rent a party bus that seats about 55 for about 30 guests who are coming from out of state and the 20 bridesmaids/groomsmen and then a Rolls Royce for us. However, when I went over my plans with my photographer about the schedule for the day he asked if I wanted to do a first look and I declined. It didn’t dawn on me until later that it would mean I would have to get a separate vehicle for myself or we should separate the bridesmaids/groomsmen and we all arrive with our separate parties and the out of town guests in a separate vehicle as well. That’s going to add about 500$-1k to our budget depending on what kind of vehicles we decide on, if we have to rent three different vehicles. Is the “first look” moment more impactful during the ceremony or is it better just to do it beforehand to save money? I really like the tradition of not seeing the bride in her dress until the ceremony. Should I just stick to my vision and shell out the cash ?
