Separate RSVP for reception?

ashley, on January 24, 2013 at 7:46 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

I am having my reception and ceremony at two separate locations. I need to get an accurate headcount for the reception for obvious purposes and plan on inviting 100-125 people. I don't want to assume that everybody who goes to the ceremony will go to reception because I know a lot of my family memebers won't be attending the reception. How can I ask for my guests to RSVP on my invitations for both the ceremony and reception?

I would make separate lines on your RSVP card for both.

    ___ will attend ceremony only

    ___ will attend reception only

___ will attend both ceremony and reception

    ___ regretfully decline

Something along those lines should work...

Okay great thanks! So should I ask them to put a number on the line for the number of people who woll accompany them and how will I write that?
