Sendoff Idea for Everyone

Hello everyone!

I heard this really good idea that I wanted to share.

At the end of the reception have the guests leave the room. Keep your photographer in the room and you and your significant other. The two of you dance on the dance floor by yourselves. The pictures would be great because it'd be just the two of you and all of the leftover tables and decorations scattered about in the background. It would be a moment you'd probably never forget.

Not sure how you'd go about setting this up so i'd ask a professional but I think it'd be a great idea for anyone who's having a wedding at a hotel or somewhere where a sendoff outside wouldn't make sense. Or, you can do it while your guests are gathering for an actual sendoff outside.

We are doing something similar! We’ll have a “last song,” something like Sweet Caroline or Don’t Stop Believin’, something that everyone will know. We’ll see everyone off (or mostly everyone) and have the remainders, probably our parents and DOCs, wait outside while we share a last dance alone.

Our last dance was done really nicely. The DOC had all of the guests gather around the dancefloor and hold hands while we danced to What A Wonderful World! It was such a sweet moment that she sprung on us. The photographer was long gone by that point but I'll never forget it.

We're doing this exact thing. I'm not sure how to get everyone out the door yet, maybe a schedule of events sign and our coordinator making an announcement.
