Sending wedding dress to destination

Lydia , on March 8, 2020 at 9:13 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
I am looking for advice on how to get my dress to Florida for a destination wedding!

I know I can take it on the plane and it would count as my carry on, but I am not going to be able to do that because of all the luggage I need to bring down!
Let me know any tips or tricks on how to pack and ship a wedding dress! Thank you!

No MA’AM I highly suggest your gown be your carry on ! Period NON Negotiable !
Any other items in your carry on bag if you choose to go that route, if misplaced by sending in a luggage 🧳 can be EASIER replaced.

I'm going to Florida as well and will be flying with mine as my carry on. I'm too paranoid about losing it.
Can you ship some of your other things down before you go? Our resort told us we could send boxes down for them to hold until we get there. That might help with not having to travel with as much stuff.

I have to strongly suggest you carry on the dress and request it be stowed in first class closest. I would not chance shipping it

I agree with others. I would not want to take a chance that it got lost or didn’t make it in time.

Agreed. I’d rather loose a bag of clothes in the Mail than my wedding dress.

Every bridal expert I've ever spoken with has said to take it with you on the plane. It's too risky
