Send off ideas for a brunch wedding

Are there any restrictions with your venue? Balloons, bird seed, lantern releases, sparklers, confetti, and rice were all prohibited with my venue. The sends off wands are cute and could be a fairly simple DIY craft.

I love the colorful wands. I've also been at weddings where guests are given small bells to ring as the couple leaves. I cringe when I see balloon releases. So bad for the environment and the animals.

Agreed that I dont think balloons are the best idea for environmental purposes! My venue doesn't have any restrictions. I would love to do sparklers but since we will be leaving in daylight we wont be able to do those. I definitely love the idea of the wands or bells!! Thank you all so much! Great advice

We're doing a lavender send-off. I bought dried lavender and portioned it into sachets.

I was popping in to mention ribbon wands as well but MD beat me to it!

I also like the colorful ribbon wands for a daytime send off... do you guys happen to be big sports fans of any type? Some friends of ours had to do an indoor sendoff, so it nixed all the typical send off things (bubbles, sparklers, rice, etc) so they did pom poms from their favorite college football team (their alma mater) for all the guests and they carried a small school flag as they ran out. the photos were actually really cute.

APZ- Thats adorable! I love that idea. My fiance is a huge Georgia football fan but neither of us went to college there. Do you think it would be corny if we didn't go to school there?? Thanks so much for the idea!
