It's my second wedding and I chose a wedding dress no veil. Originally I was going to look for a cocktail dress. My daughters really want me to wear a wedding dress.
I wore ivory for my first wedding. I'm looking at ivory and white dresses. I will say that I wore a blush dress for my reception and am partially considering wearing blush again. It's just gotten so popular that I'm not sure if I want to be super "trendy".

Thank you! I’m glad to have found this community it’s truly been fun and helpful swapping stories and ideas.
Same here on the white and any of the “firsts” although I feel as if this marriage is true love compared to my last, it feels awkward to do anything traditional—- not to mention I feel too old for some wedding traditions hehehehe.
I feel like I did it in reverse. My first wedding was our parents, his grandmother, my ex's brother, and two friends. I was not allowed to wear white (our son was just over a year old at that point) and nothing was actually chosen by me. This time I did it all. I wore a big white dress, I had a veil, we sent invitations and had music, and chose every single detail. I think it doesn't matter what number wedding it is, do what means something to the two of you and wear what makes you feel beautiful and happy.
It was my second wedding but my FH’s first wedding and he really wanted me to wear a wedding dress. Since we were getting married on the beach and I really did not want to wear a big fancy dress I opted for something fairly simple and comfortable but yet still look like a wedding dress.

Second wedding for both of us. I wore an ivory dress completely opposite from my first dress.
I eloped at the courthouse for my first and my FH had a full wedding for his first so this time around I'm having a small wedding and I'll be wearing an ivory mermaid gown.
