Second guessing wedding dress

I put a deposit down on the first dress (left) and the sample fit me like a glove. It was also very comfortable and not your typical white gown. This was the first store I went to and third dress I tried on. When I stepped into it I felt like it was the one. Since this was the first place I went. I convinced myself to go to another bridal store and try on more dresses. Enter in dress number two on the right. This is the one I ended up purchasing and am having alterations done on currently. I look amazing in both dresses. But I’m now second guessing getting dress number two. It’s white white, which wasn’t what I originally wanted? But I’m getting married in Miami and this dress fit that vibe more. Second guessing wedding dress 1

It’s still beautiful and comfortable but I feel like every other bride with the color of it. On the left dress you see every little detail of the dress due to the nude lining. I already spent over $2000 on the dress on the right and I’m having panic attacks over this. HELP!!

    I absolutely love both. It just comes down to what theme you’re looking for. Both are amazing and look fantastic on your body.


    I love the lace of the first one but love the top of the second one.

    You look amazing in both! I personally prefer the one on the right, but it doesn’t matter what I or anyone else prefers.
    I had a similar dilemma…
    I paid a deposit on a dress, and afterwards I kept coming back to another that was in the back of my mind, and I even kept having dreams about. Even though I polled and most people preferred the first dress, I knew in my heart the second dress was my dress because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I called the salon and they were able to cancel my order with the designer and refund part of my deposit.
    You should know in your heart and your gut which is your dress!

    I think whats also messing with me is I took my dress to get altered (one on right) and I wasn’t tan, hair and makeup not done, so I did not feel pretty in it at all. When I tried it in the salon I had my hair and makeup done and a tan do obviously I liked it enough then to purchase it. Maybe I think I look boring in all white? I’m so unsure and can’t she’ll out another $2000 on the first dress (left).

    They both did but they’re SO different. The first had a really long train and I did not want a long train so that was a deterrent for me as well. The second which I ended up buying had a shorter train and I actually am having them take a foot off because I don’t want all the fabric in my bustle. I’m so in between it’s insane and I’m driving my mom crazy about it.

    Tbh I do prefer the one on the left, but I think the one on the right probably fits the vibe better and once you get it altered it will look great!

    Since you asked for opinions, I am just going to give mine very bluntly. I do not care for the dress on the left, at all. I think it looks kind of generic, and doesn’t flatter your body nearly as much as the one on the right. Your figure looks more “straight” in the dress on the left, whereas you have a very sexy hourglass figure in the dress on the right. I feel like I’ve seen the dress on the left a million times, but the dress on the right is unique, classy while still being sexy, definitely has a wow factor, and has a more timeless feel to it. When I look at the two dresses, the one on the left makes me think 19 year old bride getting married in a barn. The one on the right makes me think young woman getting married in an elegant chic venue.

    I personally prefer the first dress you put a deposit on for a Miami wedding, but the one you bought is also very pretty. It’s just what you’re more comfortable in

    Thank you for your honest opinion! I am definitely an hourglass shape and wanted to show my assets. Getting married in Miami I wanted to fit the vibe for that and it seems you think the same way as I with the dress on the right. Thank you for your feedback I truly appreciate it.

    I agree it doesn't matter what we think but since you asked I will tell you I believe both dresses are pretty but the dress on the right is more flattering, the different material defines your curves and is slimming and flattering. Both are beautiful but side to side I think you made the right choice

    Both dresses are absolutely gorgeous and you look stunning. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks but I do love the right one on you more. I recently had to change my dress as well from color to white so I know how you feel. There's literally no wrong decision.

    I really LOVE the dress on the right (dress #2) and was actually really glad to read that was the one you picked. It could be the angle you are holding your phone at, but I think it flatters your figure better. You look a little more top heavy with the first dress while dress #2 enhances your amazing hourglass curves perfectly. Hands down dress #2 would be my pick!

    You definitely chose correctly! So don’t even second guess yourself because there’s no competition. Dress number 2 not only looks better overall, but it also gives me “Miami” vibes where the first dress doesn’t… at all. If you don’t want to look like every other bride then stick with dress 2 because the first one looks like every (every) lace dress I see brides purchasing these days. Understand that color alone isn’t what sets a dress apart, especially since dang near all of those overly common full lace-y dresses often have some kind of blush, champagne or nude color to them. So don’t even worry for one second about the dress you chose.
