Seating Chart Ideas

Shannon, on June 7, 2019 at 11:13 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
I am looking for some unique ideas for a seating chart sign that has the guests name and table number. Keep in mind it needs to be large enough to fit 300+ guests’ names or about 34 table numbers😬

I always suggest when there are that many names then it is best to alphabetize it in a large chart.alphabetize would make it easier for guests to find their names

I agree with alphabetical names, and with that many people I'd do table numbers in sequential order. Having 300+ people wandering around trying to find a table with a particular name (e.g, the "Ariel & Eric" table vs. the "Belle & Beast" table, etc.) would be crazy. I'd also probably have more than one seating chart so people don't have to crowd around 1 sign trying to find their name & table #.

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Shannon Smiley smile

As the PP's mentioned, with 300+ guests, it may be best to have a large chart, alphabetically organized with table numbers beside names to help make the sitting for dinner process smoother! Here is an example I found on Pinterest.

I know this may not feel super unique, however, you could design it to fit in with your theme/style.

Would something like this work for you? Let me know your thoughts Smiley smile

Hi Shannon! Have you decided what you will do for a seating chart yet?
