I love fragrances and will be interested in what you've chosen, if any. I decided I wanted a new scent (will always remind me of my wedding day) and wish to smell like roses (not synthetic, nasty rose), so I'm going to wear Frederic Malle's Une Rose. Has a bit of wine dregs in it, but it's a late afternoon wedding in Jamaica and I think I'll be fine. I don't want to smell like a wino. Ha! Ha! The heat will definitely bring out the rose. My fiancé hasn't chosen his yet. So my fellow brides and grooms, let's forget about covid for awhile and have some fun!
I’m doing my signature perfume that I’ve worn since I was 23 (I’m 32 now!), which is Burberry Brit. I’m doing it because everyone always tells me how wonderful I smell when I wear it and my family and good friends have come to associate the scent with me. I decided not to change a good thing but that’s because I’ve literally been wearing the same scent for 9 years.

I definitely understand Allie!! Everyone knows my signature scent, too. It's not well known, it's Josephine by Rance. I get the same type of compliments with it and I've worn if for about 15 years!! It was a hard decision, but I'm happy with my choice. I've always wanted to smell Burberry Brit. I'll have to get a sample. Thanks for sharing! I appreciate it!! ❤
I’m doing one of Beyoncé’s scents. It’s my go to that I’ve been using for years and my fiancé loves the way it smells. He’s doing Polo blue or black. I love the way it smells on him and have been buying it for years.
I'm a huge fan of roll-on scented oils, I vastly prefer them to spray-perfumes. I have three favorite scents: Nag Champa Flora (Utterly gorgeous "Sexy, exotic, irresistible" scent), Gardenia (the "fresh, clean, and beautiful" scent), and Sandalwood (the "Snag them with that delicious incense" scent).
I'm probably going to go with a mix of Nag Champa Flora and Sandalwood for the wedding, putting them on different areas (Nag Champa behind the ears, back of the neck, in the inner elbows, and wrists; Sandalwood between the breasts. The scents stay noticeable for MANY hours without being overwhelming.
Dang this poll made me rethink my choice lol. I have never worn fancy perfume. I usually wear Bath and Body works sprays. There was a scent that came out this summer called "Golden Sunflower" and thats what Im planning on wearing because my flowers are sunflowers lmao. But maybe I should change that to somethimg fancier. 🤯

Same!! Honestly i think bath and body works body sprays last longer than actual perfume does on me!! My go to’s are Honeysuckle and Be Enchanted by bath and body works!! I will most likely choose Honeysuckle for my scent since my wedding will be in May

It’s absolutely nice to have a different scent on your wedding day because then you’ll always remember your wedding when you smell it!!
My FMIL & I are going to bath & bodyworks this afternoon. I was going to start browsing what they have. I have a couple of different fragrances I use but I wanted to find something unique. Something that would remind me & my fiancé of our wedding.

I think wedding day or no big event is right for trying something new. Scents really do mix with your body chemistry, and what a lab may certify smells like this or that, will on at least half the people. But I found over time that a scent sample has to pass the test on me for hours, and still smell nice. Some nice scents for 30 sec on the wrist, smell sharp, or moldy, or other vague but unpleasant things after an hour or 4. I would not try an unknown like Sunflowers on my wedding day. I swear, some scents, after a few hours on my damp skin, I could use to enforce social distancing ...

Clarissa, you'll have to let me know which one you are wearing. I've not tried any of Beyoncé fragrances. I've been living on YouTube during the pandemic watching fragrance reviews. Ha! Ha! Yes, can't go wrong with Polo! You will both smell fabulous. xx

Ohhhh, sounds very interesting Michele. I'm sure Etsy has beautiful blends. So you are considering a new fragrance for your wedding? Thanks for commenting. xx

Hi Vale!! I love scented oils, too, although non of mine are roll-on. All sprays. Nag Champa Flora sounds divine in my imagination. Ha! Ha! I'm going to have to try a few roll-on's and maybe Nag Champa Flora. I love sandlewood, too. My absolute favorite 'woody' note in a fragrance is cedar. I don't know why, but if it has cedar in it, it usually smells divine on me. Thanks for replying. xx

Annika, I am by no means a perfume snob and Bath and Body works has some lovely fragrances. If you have time, pull up 'wedding perfumes' on YouTube and listen. So many!! Most of the nicer department stores will send free samples, especially if you tell them you are a bride. I don't know how many companies I emailed through Neiman Marcus. I sampled SO many until I decided on Une Rose. Also, if you change to something 'fancier' that you love, buy it from FragranceX or FragranceNet. Both sell 100% legitimate fragrances, not knock offs, and the prices cannot be beat. Best wishes in your search for your perfect wedding scent. So glad this post was helpful. ❤ xx
