I'll be sending ours between 6-7 months before the wedding. They should definitely be sent sooner than that (closer to a year in advance) if you're having a destination wedding.

6-8 months is typically. We sent ours out 8 months in advance because we have lots of out of town guests.

We sent ours out 10 months early since so many guests were out of state.

We sent ours out about 11 months in advance. With our wedding being 3 weeks before Christmas, and over half needing to travel, the sooner the better.
