Save the dates without pictures??

They don't have to have pictures on them. They're really just informational

They don’t need photos, but if you wanted maybe you could just have a friend or relative take a photo? Or even set up a tripod to take one of yourselves? Or just use a photo you already have? It doesn’t have to be an “engagement photo” necessarily

Ours didn’t have a picture. One of our guests thought they were very nice. And even if most guests didn’t think much of them, it doesn’t matter, they were perfectly fine.

Ours had an engagement picture on the front, but we got ones from friends last year who used a somewhat goofy selfie as the front of the postcard, and friends this year who used a photo they had taken on a cruise. I think they're fine without pictures, but if you want pictures, don't feel bad about using a non-engagement shoot photo.

We didn’t use pictures because we wanted summer engagement pictures but needed save the dates out sooner and we got so many compliments!

We only had a six month engagement, so we hadn't had engagement pictures made by the time we sent STDs. People really liked them (they were super cute from zazzle - "Eat, Drink, and Be Married")

Mine don't have photos. I didn't like the layouts of the photo ones.

Save the dates aren't necessary in the first place, so they definitely don't have to have pictures! either way is fine, but definitely not a requirement.

Yeah, there are a lot of really cute save the date options out there that don't have photos. I've seen great ones at Minted and Zazzle in particular.

Nope, not needed! Ours had a picture but we just got a save the date for an upcoming wedding and it didn't have a photo. It didn't matter to us at all.

We did save the dates without pictures and didn't have any problems.

We didn’t have pictures on ours. Some people have asked why we didn’t use a picture, but we’ve also gotten a lot of compliments on them!

We didn't have pictures on ours because we wanted our entire invitation suite to match both in style and formality. I forgot to take a picture of what the STD looked like but here is the digital proof and then a picture of the invitation suite from our wedding.

Save the Date

My save the date is a beer coaster; no pictures are on it. I do, however, have my engagement photos on my bridal shower thank you cards
