Save the dates without a photo

I don't think it's odd, a couple I know had a very nature themed wedding, and unused a deer sillouhette and I thought it was nice.

Ours didn't have a photo.

I specifically did not want a photo of us on ours. I've gotten a ton of compliments on them, and it was just a template from minted.

I have seen lots without a photo, not weird at all.

Ours had a photo of a shoreline. Simple and cheap but got the point across. Its a DW so it fit. Our invitations will have photos on the back.

It's definitely not uncommon to have a Save the Date without a photo, especially if you didn't take engagement photos. I've seen tons of great designs out there, so clearly someone is buying them

I didn't do a photo. Mine was very simple and to the point. I got it off of Vistaprint

There's a lot of options without photos and I've really liked some of them. My friends had a cute mini calendar with their date circled and names. Simple and cute!

We did them without a photo. We loved how they came out.

Ours didn't have a photo -- we didn't want to do engagement photos and we preferred the aesthetic of a design rather than a photo.

We didn't do a photo. Found a nice template on minted and we received a ton of compliments. We did a photo on our invitations instead (again using a minted template).

Definitely not! I did an illustration of my fiance and I for the back of ours and they were a HUGE hit. I had originally planned on sending them out without the illustration and they would have been just as beautiful

The last two weddings I went to didn't have pics on their save the dates. Do what you like best.

I didn't have a picture of us on ours either. Though it did have a pic of our cat with yoda ears on

The people you're inviting should know what you look like. It really just needs to tell them when and where.

OMG @Kelsey K those are awesome! We just won't have engagement photos done by the time I want to send the STD's, but I don't really mind not having our photo on it. But now I'm tempted to have you do an illustration of us for ours because those are so awesome!!
