Save the dates without a photo

It's not weird at all. Our wedding is in November so we used a really pretty picture of fall trees. People loved them!

Mines will not have a photo, and there will be no awkward photos of us during the reception. I've never been into the idea of sending pics of myself to people. Even for xmas, I send my yearly puppy photo... but not of me. Just not my thing.

Ours didn't have a photo. I chose a template from vistaprint. Added a clip art flower to the front and silhouette of Han Solo and Princess Leia on the back. They match our address and return address labels!

Nope. We didnt include a photo. They were blush with gold printing, and i received so many compliments regarding how cute they were

We put our baby photos on ours. I don't want anyone's ugly mug on my fridge!! Joking aside .. it's a matter of personal preference. I'm sure your family and friends know your name.

We didn't use photos. Hell, we didn't even take engagement photos. Just not our cup of tea.

Do what you want! Ours didn't have a photo. We had concert ticket magnets made by Save the Date Originals, our first date was at a concert so it meant something.

ETA: a picture AND that I think couples with photos of themselves on STD, invites, all over the wedding in general are just extremely into themselves. and whatever floats their boats. kudos to them for being pretty AF right? if i was a drop dead gorgeous bombshell or the least bit confident in my appearance i'd probably have a photo. but i'm not, so i let my creativity take the spotlight and made this suckers.

I think it's totally normal. Lots of our friends have sent them without any photo at all. We used a sunset pic oh the pier just down the hill from our venue. A little "taste" of what to expect for our guests.

No photo on ours! It was a simple postcard, too. Cheap n easy.

No photo is fine but someone in my FH's family was getting married and sent out save the dates with just their first names. Like "Jessica and Michael are getting married!" And no one knew who it was. Everyone called around asking if they got a weird save the date from Jessica and Michael. Eventually they figured out who it was, some distant cousin's kid. Anyways the point is, if there's no photo use full names.
