Save the dates - picture or no picture?

We went with picture and magnet! As a guest of weddings, I love the picture magnet and I put them all on my fridge! I put the ones without magnets on too but they fall off easier. No picture will go in a drawer or something. I love pictures!

We aren't doing engagement photos so we aren't planning on doing a STD with a picture.

We'll definitely be using photos! That's what the engagement photos are for, right?!

We used a photo from our engagement session! We grew up in different states so some people on the guest list have only met one of us, or it’s been a while since we’ve seen some of the invitees.

We did a photo...a picture is worth a thousand words.

This is ours! We used a really fun Picture we took in Scotland last year!

Save the date

We aren't having engagement photos, so no photos for us. I actually designed/illustrated our save the dates to look like the old WPA travel posters.

We didn't do pictures. We chose a design we both loved.

We ended up doing photo magnets, which a lot of our guests liked cause they won’t forget it on the fridge but some thought they were overrated. I honestly didn’t plan on having a photo or a magnet but couldn’t find a design I liked except picture. I ended up being more happy with this.

We went with a photo one and love it! We actually waited longer than we wanted to to send them out because we had to reschedule our engagement pictures several times due to weather. We couldn’t be more happy with how they came out though and we couldn’t just pick one picture

I always like Save the Dates with pictures on them, especially since most invitations don't have a picture on them. We are going to take our with our dog in the foreground with a sign around her neck saying "Save the Date 5.11.19" and us in the background sitting in the grass holding each other.

We didn't send any, but I tend to like STDs with photos better as a guest.

We didn't do an engagement photo shoot, so we chose a pattern that perfectly reflected the theme of the wedding. Love them!

We went with no photo and it was a magnet.

I wanted to have photos, but FH and I never got the chance to do engagement pictures due to crazy work schedules. We’re getting photos done Memorial Day weekend (free session from our photographer) and are going to include 1 or 2 on the back of our invitations!

No photo for us. Our venue used to be an old bank and we just love the history of the space. It still has a bank teller window, the safe and a wall of safety deposit box fronts, mixed with modern elements. It's so cool. So we embraced the history and our friend designed the save the dates to look like a check. We have a custom logo (like a bank logo) and a custom stamp with our names and wedding date (stamped like an old check).
