Save the date magnets vs cards

I'm struggling with whether I want to buy save the date magnets or if I just want to print regular 5x7 one sided cards. Any suggestions? The magnets are quite a bit more expensive but are they more convenient?

I prefer the magnets. I will put those on the fridge. I won't use other magnets on our fridge to hold up your postcard because it damages the fridge (we get scratches). The means your save the date will be filed away and probably lost if it isn't a magnet at our house.

I think either is fine. I only did magnets because I got a really good Black Friday deal. I planned to do cards prior to that.

We did magnets through vistaprint, used a groupon and got a great deal on them. I thought the quality was great and we've had very positive feedback from everyone who got them.

My fiance went to high school with a girl who does graphic design and we are so excited for our Save the Dates. We did go with a magnet and felt like the upgrade was worth it. We're not sending to every guest though, honestly more because there are some guests we are inviting but do not necessarily want to give advanced warning to!

Magnets all the way. Mine are a big hit and people usually end up putting save the dates on the fridge anyway. Go to vistaprint. Got mine for real cheap with a retailmenot coupon. Ended up being roughly 50 cents a piece when all was said and done.

I just printed my image and used magnet sheets with an adhesive back. I like magnets, but didnt want to spend that much. I made 50 for like $35 or something like that.
