Save the Date for Postponed Celebration

Suzie, on March 2, 2021 at 10:31 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
My husband and I postponed our big Oct 2020 wedding plans, and held a micro wedding instead. We let people know of the postponement last year, but didn’t give any details. We’d like to now send new save the dates, and are looking for inspiration. For those that had a micro wedding and are now doing your big party, how did you word the new Save the Date? Did you use a photo from the micro wedding? Any inspiration (and photos!) would be appreciated!

I wasn’t in this scenario, but I would include a photo and say something like “___ and ___ were married in a private ceremony on ___. Please save the date for a celebration of marriage/vow renewal/reception (or whatever) on ___.”

    What Caytlyn suggested is perfect!

I've also seen some cute wording to kick off the announcement like "Happily Ever After Party", "I do, me too, now let's party!", and "We did!":

We're doing a vow renewal and keeping everything simple. We made lots of changes to make it easier on ourselves and guests.
