Hi everyone!

I need major help in finding a waterfront (beach preferably) wedding ceremony in San Diego area! My fiance and I are from the Bay Area, so this is also a destination wedding, which makes it a little more difficult to plan!

We are looking into fall 2019 and possibly 100 guests and looking for something that doesn't break the bank either! Would prefer not to get married on actual sand though, but love to have ocean/water backdrop for the ceremony! Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you! I feel slightly overwhelmed with wedding planning, although excited st the same time! I’m hoping to find a few venues to check out since will be visiting San Diego next month for a couple days!

I certainly understand as wedding planning can get stressful! Just relax, and remain calm! Maybe you should try using our Checklist to remain organized and place things into perspective! Hey Dominique! I know my friend got married at the La Jolla Shores, you should look into that area. It was fairly cheap and the beach is beautiful.

Hello,

I chose Catamaran Resort. They have a lawn area next to the beach for ceremonies. They were very affordable and bad flexible with planning. April in the catering department was very helpful.

Look up Martin Johnson house, it's owned by the university and has a beach backdrop but is on a bluff. It's gorgeous. The school also owns Scripps Seaside forum so both are affordable and gorgeous!

Hi! I'm from San Diego but living in AZ. But I'm planning my wedding back home. I found a bunch of locations that aren't us but maybe you can look into!

-Scripps Martin Johnson house (they also have separate venue an aquarium that's super unique)
- la Jolla Bridge club
- inn at sunset cliffs
- Torrey pines country club
