Saga of the $5 wedding dress- pics

I was so excited for my appointment today. It went OK. I also booked to look at bridesmaids dresses as well. Was a little irritated because over the phone they said they had tea length slips to try on but they did not. I told the consultant that I wasn’t planning on buying today up front. It’s a big decision!!


So I had bought a $5 dress at the thrift store that I had dry cleaned and it looks great! But now I’m really torn between it and one other dress. Its come partially down to a modesty thing, though. The other dress exposed too much of my back. I’m not interested in sinking a lot in alterations. So I’m going to pray about it and we’ll see

My bridesmaids did pick their dress and I’m so excited about that! The first dress is the thrift store dress. Still need to find a slip if I go that route.
