Rustic wedding... silver or gold!

Gold. It's has a warmer feeling to it. When I think rustic, I want warmth and coziness.

I agree with gold rather than silver for what you're going for, even though I always prefer silver over gold. We're going with rose gold for our rustic wedding, I've never been a big fan of gold

We got married at an equestrian center, and had gold accents! I'm a big gold fan at weddings. We had gold chargers & gold flatware, then added with some different shades of gold candles within the centerpieces too. It wasn't in budget, but if it was I would have rented gold chiavari chairs! The other colors we had were earth tones of green & blue.

I prefer silver over gold almost all the time, it's one of my wedding colors. But I think with what you described gold would go better for what you are looking for.

I definitely prefer silver but gold seems to be a better fit. Not to add another decision to your list but I'm also slightly obsessed with copper in rustic weddings.

Gold. It's funny because I think these days us women gravitate towards silver jewelry but as decor I prefer gold, especially with rustic. It will really depend on what colors you end up choosing.

You could honestly go either way. We are doing a rustic elegance theme with rose gold accents.
