Rude venue space Managers

I definitely wouldn't have the wedding there. I'd also write an email to the venue saying how you may have considered having the wedding there if it wasn't for this person and I'd make sure to put her name down. And then tell them you lost my business because of her. Explain the way she treated you.


I hate when you go somewhere and the employee treats you like you don't have money. My sister in laws grandfather is rich but doesn't dress like he has money. One day he wants to buy a brand new Lincoln with cash. Because of the way he was dressed he got treated like crap. He asked for the manager and showed the manager the money and explained how he wanted to buy the car with cash, then explained how he wouldn't buy a car from them until the first guy he dealt with was fired. The manager fired the guy on the spot and her grandfather bought the vehicle.

Look at it as a good thing. You probably dodged a bullet with that place. You will find that perfect venue for your wedding with staff who treats you with respect.

Sadly… This is not uncommon behavior with the wedding industry. It really takes a lot of searching to find good professional people. I don’t know what it is… But there is something about the wedding industry we are all customer service interactions and professionalism completely fly out the window with MANY of these vendors/venues.


And I would also like to add that it has nothing to do with how much you spend. They could be the most expensive most well-known vendor or venue in your state and I’m telling you you will experience more of this. It amazes me constantly especially when we think about how much they charge us simply because we have the title “wedding “in front of our event. You’d think they’d be laying out the red carpet and instead they’re throwing down a bag of dog poop on your Front door waiting for you to walk out. Lol

If that happened to me I would NOT book my venue with them especially if that's how she acted. She already seems like she is giving a bad name for that venue.. If only her boss knew! If you want you can always write a bad review just so you can also give other brides or clients a heads up. I'm not the type to always write reviews, but I only ever do it when I have had a HORRIBLE experience or when I had an AMAZING experience.

But I'm just upset about it and I did five them a bad review unfortunately the space in the upper rooms were gorgeous but her attitude and rude customer service was bad.

View Quoted Comment Yup! So true. We encountered this a few times too. I think people in those jobs aren’t paid well and aren’t treated well or trained well. That’s not an excuse for bad behavior but it’s likely poor top-down management.
